Power Stop Brake Kit For 2005-2010 Ford Mustang [Model Specific] S197 Front and Rear Z26 Carbon Fiber Brake Pads with Drilled & Slotted Brake Rotors Replacement, K1381-26

Install was easy. Followed break-in instructions. So far this has been an excellent purchase. Braking is superior to stock. They also look great on the car!

Previous brakes were ok but I had 95k miles on my 2010 Mustang GT and hadn't done the brakes yet. Don't wait this long, had 2 frozen caliper pins and needed to replace 2 brackets and the pins. Have about 500 miles on these now and they stop the car very well once they're broken in.Everything came packaged well and was fairly easy to install. Comes with new guide clips, floating pin boots, and ceramlub for lubing the faces of the pads in addition to what is pictured. I didn't pay attention to the orientation of the replacement pad guide clips that come with the kit and put one on backwards. FYI, the rolled tab goes on the outside with the flat tab on the inside closest to the rotor. ;)

They look great and feel great on my 2010 Mustang GT. The only problem I have with them and why I went down one star is for two things. One, it arrived in two flimsy cardboard boxes that were falling apart by the time they arrived. UPS is not gentle and these could have been packaged a little better. But nothing was missing so it's okay I guess.The one that really was confusing was that both sets of rotors only said FRONT PASSENGER SIDE and FRONT DRIVERS SIDE. That made me think for a second that I inadvertently received two front end rotors. The customer service rep was great in trying to work out a solution. Then I went back and took a good look at them and realized that the rotors were different sizes, two smaller (rear) and two larger (front). So Front just meant this way out, not front of car. Didn't mention that in the instructions! Yes I was in a bit of a haze working on these and trying to get them done before I had to go to work, no I didn't fully inspect them before I started the installation.

I felt the smoth stoping ... way better stoping than original .....And my Mustang is moded so I neded better stoping power ..... and these disc do the job way better

Quality of the products was excellent, was a nice upgrade to my 06 mustang gt. ..definitely recommend these.....

My install went fine, I've had them on for about two weeks and did the break in procedure. They appear to stop well so far, I've never changed brakes before but it was straight forward with a Haynes manual. There were only four guide pin boots sent with the package, but after contacting support they sent me an additional four. Be sure to get some high temp anti seize for where the rotor touches the axle part, the dumb dealership didn't use it for the rear rotors they replaced years ago and they didn't come off easily.

Hard to write a bad review on these brakes as they work perfectly and setting up the front brakes were simple. It wasn’t until I started working on the rear brakes that I noticed I was given the incorrect brake pads. Should have noticed before I started the process but now I am forced to buy another set of brake pads to finish the work I started. Kinda ridiculous after spending as much as I did on these.

This brake kit looks as good and stops as well as other kits for 4x the price. Very happy with my purchase. Pick up a caliper wind-back kit and a couple cans of caliper paint for a complete brake transformation. Package arrived in two days and everything was as expected.
