Saitek PP32 PS2700 Rumble Pad for use with PC or PS3 Game Console

The second that i got this controller in hand, I was very impressed. I have semi-small hands, and i was afraid that this controller would be to big and bulky...It was not. The Feel of the controller is very comfortable, and surprisingly only weighs about 2 pounds! The whole reason that i bought this controller, wasfor the ability to switch the positions of the left joystick and directional pad. I was relieved when i noticed that when i do switch the joystick and pad, thatin addition to changing their place on the controller, the functions of the joystick and directional pad migrate with them when they switch! so no mater whatposition you have them in, the functions for the game that your playing for the joystick and the directional pad stay assigned to their intended devices so onlythe positions have switched. for Example...let's treat the joystick as F1 and the Directional pad as F2.now you start playing a game where the fuctions to navigatethe Game Menu are only assigned to F2, and the functions tocontrol the in-game character are only assigned to F1.when you switch the places of F1 & F2 on the controller,F2 will remain assigned to the Menu and F1 will remainassigned to controlling the in-game character.You'll be supprised to see how many "Hard to control" games become playable with this controller. Excellent gamepad for the price, its sturdy, the L2 R2 triggers feel very nice, the analog joysticks are very precise, and the precision aim button comes in very handy for FPS's. There is no driver/software cd in the package, you have to go to Saitek's website to download them. I was having a problem with the SST software (which maps keyboard, mouse, and hotkey commands to the controller) because it was crashing my games. I later figured out that having keyboard commands mapped to the controller in games with gamepad support causes a conflict. So, Only use the keyboard mapping software in games with no gamepad support and you should be problem free. All in all its a great product, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is comfortable with a PS2/PS3 style controller.

This was a decent controller while it worked, but it only served me for about 4-5 months of moderate use at best before breaking down. I should have known this would happen; holding it, you can feel that it's really cheap construction. The controller feels flimsy, and with less than a half year's use my left analog stick is already out. It still registers left and right, but it cuts out on up and down, and the L3 button is mushy--you can feel that the stick's connection is somehow broken.I wanted to like this controller. Even though it feels cheap it started out with everything feeling responsive. The ability to switch between PS3 and XBox layouts is nice, and I was excited that it would work as both a PC and PS3 controller. But it became unusable very quickly, under only light-to-moderate use.

I mean the whole idea of the controller is pretty cool, the fact that you can switch it from the ps3 style to the xbox style is something I've never heard of so when I saw this controller I had to try it out. But realistically it seems like the controller buttons aren't made nearly as durable as I'd like. 2 weeks after I bought it the buttons started to fall into the controller itself I guess and got much harder to actually press with me having to consciously try and press the button instead of being able to do a fluid motion. Now a few weeks after that the controller buttons hardly work and I'm going to buy another replacement here shortly most likely, cool idea, worked great at first, just not built to last. Overall a bad investment if you are looking to buy one to last.

Biggest problem with this was the drivers. It keeps trying to install drivers that don't work. I've looked through forums and the Saitek site, but I keep having the same issues. With an older version of the drivers, it works fine, but with newer versions, you can't use the d-pad and press up left, up right, down right, or down left. Which is fine for older games, but if you need to be able to press to directional buttons at the same time, the controller just locks up and stops working. I basically got around it by using the joystick instead of the d-pad, but I can only give it 3 stars at best based on that.

un gamepad evoluto, l'ho testato sia su ps2 che pc devo dire che la sensibilità è perfetta di suo, e con la possibilità di calibrare e settare ogni singolo pulsante e leva, lo rende veramente adatto per ogni tipo di mano e di gioco, ha lo stick sinistro che può essere invertito a piacimento per accontentare sia chi è abituato con i controller xbox, sia ps2/3, ha doppia connessione con attacco ps2/3 e usb, è indicato regno unito ma io ho trovato all interno le istruzioni anche in italiano, manca il cd di installazione per i driver e il sistema saitek di calibrazione , ma con una connessione di 5 minuti ho scaricato tutto quanto dal sito saitek, (era stato riconosciuto subito da windows 7, (ho voluto scaricare i driver per una mia fissa),un controller solido a mio parere poco più grande di quelli originali sony.sistema vibrazione potente ed efficace.Un gamepad di qualità, adatto a chi piace giocare con tipologie diverse di giochi, (io l'ho usato su gta).consigliato!! da un giocatore.

Je cherchais une manette essentiellement pour jouer avec un émulateur PS1 sur PC (avec Windows 7), et celle-ci semble parfaite pour ça.Le driver du constructeur marche très bien, l'émulateur reconnaît bien la manette, bonne réactivité.Je n'ai pas vraiment eu l'occasion de l'essayer avec d'autres jeux PC cependant, mis à part World of Warcraft juste pour le délire (mais ça a très bien marché !).Je m'en suis aussi servi sur ma PS2 et le résultat était également très satisfaisant (FFX, FFX-2).Petites remarques :- je trouve difficile de changer la position du bloc joystick/flèches directionnelles, il faut forcer un peu et j'avais peur d'abimer le matériel.- je n'ai pas réussi à faire fonctionner les vibrations depuis l'émulateur PS1 sur PC.

Ich habe mir diesen Controller zusätzlich zu meinem Saitek P2600 Rumble (mit dem ich immer recht zufrieden war) geholt, damit man bei mir zu zweit am PC FIFA spielen kann. Auch mit diesem Controller bin ich sehr zufrieden.Was mir besonders gefällt:- Liegt gut in der Hand- Das Cyborg-Modul finde ich richtig gut (innovative Idee)- Macht mir einen qualitativ guten / robusten Eindruck- Hat 2 analoge Schultertasten (Trigger)- Das Digital-Kreuz gefällt mir besser als beim P2600, da es sich präziser bedienen lässtSchade, aber lösbar:FIFA hatte die letzten Jahre schon immer Probleme mit den Saitek-Controllern (zumindest bei mir). Aber das ist nicht die Schuld von Saitek sondern von EA-Sports. Das Problem war allerdings immer nur, dass der Controller in einer bestimmten Text-Datei von FIFA richtig konfiguriert werden muss. Dann geht alles, wie es soll und das Problem ist behoben. ;)Ich nutze den Controller nur am PC und kann deshalb nichts zu der Benutzung mit PS2/3 sagen.Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis: TOP!

J'ai acheté cette manette comme deuxième manette pour changer j'ai voulu voir si l'analogique devant c’était mieux et j'ai tenté l'inversion du stick gauche et j'avoue avoir été perturbé en tant que joueur PS3, au point de vite repasser en mode classique.En terme ergonomie, je ne trouve pas la manette aussi agréable qu'une classique Dual Shock, j'ai des mains de taille moyenne/grande et les L1 R1 sont trop excentrées et donc pas assez réactives.Ensuite niveau FPS, sur la manette analogique gauche la fonction COURSE s'enclenche mal(voir pas du tout), je ne pense pas que ce soit la mienne seulement puisqu'elle est toute neuve donc un gros moins la dessus car c'est très handicapant.Le câble est assez long (2m) mais pas encore suffisant pour mettre une grande distance avec nos grands écrans (j'ai un 46 pouces soit 117 cm).Il y a un point positif c'est la fonction ralenti/précision sur tir, utile parfois en mode sniper mais il faut rester appuyer sur ce bouton ce qui est dommage, une seule pression aurait du suffire pour passer d'un mode a l'autre.Cote innovation de ce genre je ne comprends pas qu'il n'y ait pas eu le bouton auto pour tir automatique ça aurait complémenté très bien la fonction précision.Bref je ne savais globalement pas a quoi m'attendre pour une manette a 30 euros mais si c’était a refaire je prendrais autre chose même en rajoutant 5-10 euros si nécessaire.Il existe aujourd'hui des manettes a 15 euros qui doivent pas être loin de celle ci en terme de qualité.Au final je mettrais un 10/20, je ne jouerai pas avec et elle fait le job mais pas assez bien pour le prix.
