Great sounding pickup
This pickup sounds amazing and it’s really good for making a Stratocaster more versatile. A+Don’t expect the bridge of your Strat to sound anything like a Strat once you put this in it, though. It won’t. It’s very warm and fat sounding, but it’s hot so it can get a nice edge. It doesn’t bite like a single coil though.

Pure Awesomeness!
I had dropped the neck Hot Rail into my Mexican Strat a few months ago, and loved the full, powerful sound so much that I never used my single coils any more. After installing the bridge Hot Rail, my guitar is even more versatile. Despite what I had read, it is possible to balance the output with the remaining single coil in my mid position, just by raising that pickup closer to the strings. So now I have a powerful scooped sound from the neck, a quack-ey strat sound out of the middle, and powerful mids out of the bridge. And I get some great sounds mixing the middle pickup with either Hot Rail. I am definitely enjoying playing my Strat now more than ever before. Installation was easy, though I recommend going to the Seymour Duncan website for color wiring diagrams, as the grayscale diagrams that come with the pickup are difficult to read. 5 Stars!

Easy install, sounds great to me
I installed one of these in the bridge position on an old Squire Bullet Strat I had sitting around and it was really simple and easy to do. No routing or cutting, just two wires desoldered and then two soldered. The white and black wires are reversed in relation to the old pickups but I just followed the instructions and it worked. I read that it may be out of phase when used with the middle pickup but I dont hear it. Id like to add a push/pull knob for coil splitting soon. Tone is subjective and I figure if you’re buying this you already know the tone you want but I will say that I really like the sound of these distorted or overdriven for metal & blues better than the single coil. Sounds great clean to my ears also. Very hot as others have said but it really makes this cheap little guitar sound like a monster. Very happy with my purchase.

Brought My Strat To Life!
Great pickup!! I love my Stratocaster, but as with any single coil guitar, you have to deal with a certain amount of hum (unless you're in the 2 or 4 position on the selector switch). It's the price of doing business. However, I found myself using the 2 and 4 positions for the most part, as well as the middle and neck pickup alone, and avoiding the bridge pickup because for me, I just couldn't dial in the bridge the way I wanted. So I decided to go with the Hot Rails in the bridge position and it was a great solution. The bridge position now sings (without the hum, obviously), and I've dialed in the 2 position so it matches well with the middle pickup as well. My Strat just went from my "single coil" guitar to my main guitar, because it always feels so good to play.

Bridge position
I am installing this in the bridge position and I can’t wait to hear the tone from this pickup along with the Seymour Duncan at the bridge which is just an amazing pickup. The original Duncan fell flat and I wasn’t happy with it at all. I will let you know just how it sounds after I get it installed and play it through a Marshall stack.

Hot rails on a Strat is for you
If you’re looking to make a fender Stratocaster sound more hard rock and metal, the Seymour Duncan hot rails is perfect. It is a super hot pick up with incredible Sonic range and volume. This thing is hot in the bridge position! The craftsmanship, wiring, and single coil size gives way to a perfect sound and appearance for my Stratocaster. I’m very happy with this pick up.

No buzz and they scream!!
I put these in the bridge space on a$100 fender squier i picked up and they sound amazing!! Theyre a humbucker that fits in a single coil opening , and there is no buzz and they scream ..i followed the wiring diagram on seymourduncan.com and it was pretty easy except for the 5way switch ..it wasnt staggered it was straight across 1- 8 and 4 and 5 have a bridge wire ..but i love it , getting one for the neck next...
