What is the average airspeed velocity of an unladen Nighthawk X6?

What WiFi Adapter should I be using with this? I don't see a USB3 Tri-Band Adapter anywhere. Do I need it?

There is no such thing as a triband adapter. The router has 2 5Ghz radios and one 2.4Ghz radio. You want a dual band ac or n adapter (5Ghz and 2.4Ghz).The reason it is advertised as triband is because, it balances the load on the 5Ghz band between the two 5Ghz radios. If you have a mix of 5Ghz n and ac devices, the router will separate them on to different radios so the "n" devices don't slow down the "ac" devices, for all this to happen make sure "Smart Connect" is enabled. If smart connect is disabled you can still do the same thing manually.

Can the Nighthawk X6 Tri-Band WiFi Router be set up in repeater mode to repeat the signal from another Nighthawk X6 Tri-Band WiFi Router?

You can set it up as an Access Point in the advanced wireless settings, but it requires a wired ethernet connection to the router. The Nighthawk will no longer act as a router, just additional access point to allow more simultaneously connected devices. Your total throughput of your network will not increase, so if the maximum number of devices are connected each will have less throughput. If you have the ability to connect a long cable or your house is prewired, setting up the Nighthawk as an Access Point can extend the reach of your network.
