This item was generally true to the product description. The round filter is 6.5" wide. The square filter is 4.75" wide. The round one is thin and the carbon fiber is compact, only about 1/16" thick and the square one is a bit thicker at about ¼" and the carbon fiber is less compact. I was concerned before purchasing that the decent price meant the quality would be less but they seem to be of good quality and are similar in specifications to the originals that came with my compost pail (OGGI, purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond). Also, I was happy to see that all eight came in one package, not four individually wrapped sets. The price is very good, too. One replacement set at BBB is $3.99. Very happy with this purchase.

These are great. They fit the pail and keep the odors from getting out in the kitchen. I can not smell a thing until I lift the lid. The filters were delivered promptly and professionally packaged. Will be ordering more in a few months. Great product. I recommend it.

These carbon filters are a perfect fit for my unit and are reasonably priced.

Great price for the exact filters I needed. The square screws to the inside lid and the round one fits inside the top lid rim as it should. Nice to have a great smelling compost pail under my sink again!

I was looking forward to having a filter for my compost!The round one should be as thick as the square.I'm disappointed I didn't choose a larger circle.I'm holding the circle in with a cloths hanger.
