Wow! This little machine is great!
Wow! This little machine is great! It plays music while you take your blood pressure then the lovely female voice at the end of your blood pressure reading tells you verbally what your systolic, diastolic and your heart rate is and how it compares to the World Health Organization standard. Wow! I’m just so amazed for this price level how wonderful this is. I just needed an extra machine at the office to monitor my recent blood pressure spikes. At the end it tells you if your blood pressure is normal or high and lastly, wishes you good health. And of course you can always turn this feature off. The best part is, it comes with its own adapter (NOT USB, just regular electrical socket plug) and that’s what I was looking for. If you take your blood pressure several times a day, you’re going to run through those batteries real quick. Also, who in the hell plugs in their blood pressure monitor to their computer?! I get it, it may be a nice feature? But I take mine either in the dining room or living room. My computer at work doesn’t even have enough USB portals to attach it to. Maybe it’s just me…I realize this is most likely not medically suggested, however, I decided to run a little test and compare it against my Omron blood pressure monitoring kit, while running the two machines on both of my arms at the same time. The Omron was attached to my right arm and the Paramed was attached to my left arm for 3 trials & later I alternated monitors/arms for 3 trials, as I relaxed towards the later evening. (Please keep in mind that I know medically, the blood pressure in your right arm is different from your left arm, since the body is not perfectly symmetrical. And no, I don’t have a fistula or any kind of surgical procedures/devices between my two arms.) I tried to maintain no more than a 0-3 second difference between the times where the cuffs between the two machines START to squeeze and inflate. I maintained at least a 10-15 minute gap between blood pressure readings.Omron 119/83 pulse 81 (right arm)Paramed 129/81 pulse 80 (left arm)Omron 118/77 pulse 75 (right arm)Paramed 124/72 pulse 76 (left arm)Omron 110/73 pulse 78 (right arm)Paramed 120/69 pulse 77 (left arm)Omron 114/74 pulse 84 (left arm)Paramed 119/72 pulse 84 (right arm)Omron 114/72 pulse 79 (left arm)Paramed 119/73 pulse 79 (right arm)Omron 110/64 pulse 76 (left arm)Paramed 109/63 pulse 78 (right arm)So as far as accuracy, you get to decide. Personally, I’m not too worried. Slight fluctuations are to be expected. I think it’s a good monitor, overall. Now, this is day one of actual delivery; as far as longevity is concerned, I would have to get back to you.

Great quality
I bought the blood pressure monitor in 2019 when I was still a medical student, since then I have used it in my clinical practices and it has been wonderful. Excellent quality, precision and design ❤️ 5/5

Make sure it's new
This device was sold as a new device but it was used, so be sure to check before the return window closes. Not sure about the accuracy at this time as I just recently started using it.

Close to accurate!
I’ve had this BP machine for three years now.The good:Accuracy: I tested the accuracy of this BP monitor by taking my BP using a Welch Allyn hospital vital signs machine, and I’m quite surprised that it is pretty accurate. Both systolic and diastolic measurements are off by +|- 3 points.Power Supply: There are three options: USB charging cable, AC adapter cable, and four AA batteries.Features: Memory storage for two users. Easy to set up the date, time, etc. Soothing music is optional. The bad: Bluetooth capability would have been a great bonus.

Great Blood Pressure machine at an affordable price
I did extensive research online for the best digital blood pressure monitor with automatic inflating cuff at an affordable price, and Paramed's Blood Pressure Monitor with automatic inflating cuff, in my opinion, was the best for the following reasons.• The price was exceptional for all that you get with this machine! (included along with the Paramed Blood Pressure Monitor with automatic inflatable cuff are: AC Adapter, batteries, instructions, and a zippered carrying case).• The easy instructions for setting up the machine for the first time. Multiple users with an A and B setting. Informative tips on placement of cuff, and obtaining the most accurate blood pressure results.• The soothing voice tells you when inflation begins and later tells you your BP and heart rate, and if it’s normal or high according to the World Health Organization standards. While inflating the cuff, gentle music is played in the background for relaxation. There is an option to turn off the sound, however in my opinion I think that’s a great feature! I hadn’t seen other machines come with background music.• The machine will show an “err” messages and symbols indicating if you shaked or cuff wasn’t attached right. You won’t get a BP and heart rate reading until you retake your BP again once you corrected the error.• Lastly, the ease of portability. It comes with a zippered carrying case (not a drawstring bag) that makes it ease to store or take with you on the go!All in all, I would highly recommend the Paramed Blood pressure monitor with automatic inflatable cuff to everyone who needs to monitor their blood pressure at home or on the go!

Decent meter at a low price, short tube though, 3-1/2 stars.
Pros: This seems accurate enough, it's easy to use once you get used to it. The large backlit display is very nice, and the unit seems to be sturdily built.Cons: The plug-in for the power cord in the back is a tiny phone type plug, and it's not very easy to plug in to the back of the unit. The worst thing is that the air tube that connects the cuff to the unit is on the short side, only 24 inches, and it seems too short to find a good place to set the base without pulling the base at times, and caused it to has drop to the carpeted floor at least 3 times for me. Maybe it doesn't help to have long arms, but it needs to be longer-and if you have hard floors-beware!One other con is that the on-off switch being on the face of the unit, and being just a button that you push easily to switch it on, when you put everything back in the case, and zip it up, it can easily be turned on with something pressing on it, and can run down your batteries too quickly. I keep the transformer out of the case just so it's not too full to close easily to prevent this.Would I buy it again? Not unless I could not find an improved design, with a longer air tube and different on-off switch. Otherwise, I like it for the price I paid.
