This German keyboard is just what I was looking for!
I wanted to get this keyboard because I'm learning German on Duolingo and I thought it would be fun to practice on a keyboard with an actual German layout. With the Y and Z key reversed on this layout, it messes me up more than I'd like to admit. I understand why it's reversed, though. The German language uses the Z more often than it uses the Y. But that's the toughest part to get used to!I do like having all the German character symbols easily accesible, like ß, ö, or ä.Unlike the other reviewer, my phone and keyboard don't require me to type in a code every time. Whenever I turn the keyboard on, it automatically pairs with my phone. It might make a difference what kind of phone you're using? For reference, I am using a Samsung Galaxy phone.I have accidentally unpaired the keyboard before, but it still doesn't require me to type a code in when I click to pair it again. I just have to press the "fn" and "5" key at the same time to put the keyboard into pairing mode.I've had this keyboard for 5 months now and it's still going strong. The battery life is pretty good on this keyboard, although it doesn't seem to turn off automatically when you're not using it, so don't forget to turn it off! It takes AAA (triple A) batteries. I've had to replace the batteries twice since having it, although I think my tendency to forget to turn off the keyboard isn't helping me out in that regard. The shipping time is a bit long but I think it was worth it. I love this keyboard and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a bluetooth keyboard with a German layout. :)

Could not fully establish Bluetooth connection on 2022 Windows 11 desktop
I put fresh batteries into the keyboard, sat down at my Windows 11 computer, and followed the instructions to connect. The lights on the keyboard behaved as expected. The first few tries I did not enter the code properly, and my computer just showed that it was still trying to connect. Then I got faster at it, and my computer showed a successful connection after I hit enter, but then the keyboard would immediately disconnect from the computer.I tried 4 more times by powering off the keyboard, removing the device from Windows, and starting over, but the same thing happened each time. I even tried removing and reinserting the batteries at Amazon's suggestion. When I didn't remove the device from Windows each time after this happened, I couldn't get Windows to start the pairing process despite it showing as not connected. I have a Bluetooth receiver on top of my desktop inches from where the keyboard was, and I use Bluetooth devices daily, so I am assuming the keyboard is not compatible with my 2022 Windows 11 desktop.

Wireless Keyboard German
I like this keyboard because it is small and handy, the only thing I have to criticize is, the @-sign is on the L-key and should be on the Q-key. The price is ok but has a long delivery time and it is a little laborious every time to pair it, you have to put a new code in. so, just 4 stars

Hard to find a German keyboard in the U.S.
It was surprisingly difficult to find a German keyboard here in the U.S. This one does the job. It connects easily, and Windows allows you to switch between keyboard very easily (once you figure out how to set it up in the first place).
