Trofolastin Scar Reducer is a polyurethane dressing made up of two layers: the outer surface is a microporous polyurethane membrane and the inner surface is an adherent acrylic film to facilitate fixation to the skin. Trofolastín Scar Reducer does not contain any active ingredient but acts through a physical mechanism that increases the pressure on the scar and modifies the humidity under the dressing producing a correct arrangement of the collagen fibers.
