Not much to say about the battery itself: it's the right one for the computer, and once installed it does what it's supposed to. The only caveat is installation. I'm used to doing this kind of work, and managed to get the replacement done without any fails. However, some delicate maneuvering is necessary in order to get it right, so my recommendation would be to find a good PC tech to do it for you if you're at all squeamish about attempting it yourself. On the other hand, there are some good YouTube videos out there that explain everything, and if you're careful that might be all you need to proceed with confidence.

Excellent substitute
Most CMOS coin batteries are just a pop in and pop out. Lenovo decided to make it somewhat frustrating by having their CMOS battery proprietary-packaged so it's not that easy and I couldn't just go to a store to buy it. However, it was easy to order on Amazon and got what I needed. Works well, but paying $8 for a coin battery which costs less than $1.50 by itself was annoying.
