Yes, these are more expensive than some of the other essential oil sets on Amazon, but they are definitely worth the price difference.I bought some cheaper essential oil sets (one from Anjou and one from Lagunamoon). After using them for a short bit, I started to question their purity/authenticity, so I did some research into what people considered the best relatively cheap essential oil company, and of the companies that seemed to get consistently favorable reviews of people comparing oils, Edens was the only that sold sets of single oils on Amazon, so I decided to give them a try. (It seems everyone who seriously reviews them believes Young Living is the best, but I'm not willing to pay that much for a starter set, and their price has a lot of things besides the purity of the oil built into it -- it's definitely a premium brand.) After opening the box and taking a whiff of each of the oils in this set, I am extremely confident that it is far more pure and representative of the plant than either of the other sets I bought.The most strikingly obvious difference between this set and the cheaper sets shows up with the citrus flavors. The citrus scents in the other sets had a scent that made me wrinkle my nose a bit; whereas, in this one, the grapefruit smelled like a grapefruit and the lemon smelled like a lemon, etc. The strength of the scents in Edens were also more inline with what I expected based on my belief that essential oils are extremely concentrated. When I smelled them side by side, the Lagunamoon smelled diluted by comparison, and the Anjou smelled chemically. (I actually had no exact overlaps in the other two sets to compare for citruses, so I'd never compared them side by side.) The oil where the difference was the most pronounced was the Grapefruit. For anyone else doing comparison shopping and trying to decide whether this is worth the extra price, I'd recommend just ordering the grapefruit and doing a side-by-side comparison. Edens grapefruit smells amazing. Anjou's grapefruit sort of smells like turpentine. I can't speak about all of the other cheap brands because I haven't tried most of them, and won't. After buying this set and comparing,For the herbal flavors, Edens scents were much more complex. It starts out with an herbal, earthy scent at the bottom of my nose, continues with the peppery mint that gives peppermint its name in the middle of the nose and finishes with the cool mint that peppermint and spearmint have in common at the top of the nose. In comparison, when I smell the Lagunamoon, I just get the cool mint smell, and its a lot weaker than the scent from Edens. For Anjou, the smell is mostly the peppery mint but then at the top where the cool mint should be I get a hint of the same chemical smell that dominated the grapefruit. There were quite dramatic differences for most of the herbal scents, but I'm most familiar with peppermint since there was a lot of it my parents garden when I was a kid, and I'm confident that Edens captures the essence.Finally, Edens scents are much stronger. I didn't necessarily notice this from taking the caps off and getting a quick whiff from each bottle. But when I mixed it with avocado oil for topical use, the difference was dramatic. After adding slightly more of the other oils to the avocado oil than the guides I've found online recommended, I could still smell the avocado more strongly than the essential oils I added. After adding just a couple drops of Edens (I first put in Rosemary, but I'm guessing any of them would have had the same effect), the scent of the avocado was undetectable. With just a few drops, this mixture smelt like the blend of flowers and herbs I was going for rather than base oil.Overall, I'm very pleased with Edens, and will not be tempted to try to see if I can get a better deal by downgrading to a cheaper brand.

I'm a newbie with essential oils, but I knew I liked Eden's Garden (I had tried Stress Relief and Good Morning). It's intimidating to order a gianormous set, but I did it because I didn't know which scents I really liked and this is just a much better deal per oz than buying these individually. If I was going to even order more than ten oils, it starts to get close in price!The nice thing about this set is that it has a good variety to experiment with, see what you like, and see what mysterious oils like frankencense smell like. You also get things that you might be surprised you like. I looooove their Good Night, and anything with lime really, and I would never have ordered those on their own.Word of warning, some things should not be diffused around pets. For example, eucalyptus. I diffused this and my dog was lethargic after, and only then did I google that this is bad for dogs! So please research for your furry and feathered friends what is ok!Anyway, this is a sweet set. It brings me a lot of joy to pick out scents to suite my mood. And they look awesome on a wood display. If you are thinking of ordering quite a few oils anyway, I'd definitely consider this set. It's a really great value and has some beautiful blends as well as staple single oils.

I’m grateful for the speed and care I was treated with. 5 star service and product!Lovely oils and set; however, my clove oil came already opened and leaked. I am trying to contact the seller about getting a replacement oil. I would like to keep my kit. I will update this review and my stars when I get a reply!

The media could not be loaded. I looked forward to this set so much! Sadly, The experience of opening it was a killjoy. The Amazon package was fine for a change, so this is not on Amazon. This is on Eden Garden. For over 250 dollars (closer to 300 with taxes), I expected to receive all oils & full. I have no idea what all leaked, but it leaked badly. Sticky wet box inside the bubble wrap. The outside of the box was wrapped in bubble wrap. None of the oils had any protection and were packaged next to, and on top of one another.I am not sure why I opted for a replacement, instead of the refund. I guess we shall see if they are worthy of the second chance that they have been given. I will update this when the replacement arrives.VERY DISAPPOINTED with Eden's Garden!Ok, so replacement was received, but I didn't open it right away, fearing another big mess. The replacement did leak, but minimally compared to the original order. There was only one oil spot on the outer box this time. Way better than soaked through, but SHOULD NOT LEAK in the first place! I am keeping this set, although disappointed that I lost some oil in transit again. Hence, knocking off a star. This has been my only problem ever ordering from EG, but it was a big one. I like their oils & recommend them, but I'm not sure I can recommend this set until they fix either the QC to have all covers on tight or package these more securely. As long as you know what you may have to deal with buying these & you're okay with it, go for it.

Amazing I would and have ordered from them again. I'm usually a discount purchaser for EO's but they won me over.

It is pretty expensive for essential oil, but the review said that the scents would be better than the cheap ones-and they were right! I am enjoying these very much-they smell great and are very pure and pleasing. Additionally, the first package must have gotten lost in the mail, so I wrote to Eden's Garden and they sent a replacement set that got to me in 2 days! I give them an A+++ for customer service. Excellent product and excellent company.
