does it work
I've used many hand held rivet guns over the years. This is the worst one I've ever used. Doesn't have much mechanical advantage for pulling out the stems. But the biggest problem was getting the stems out of the heads after the stem was pulled from the rivet. Very annoying. Ended up having to drive the stem out of the head with a small punch. Every time. Not every once in a while. Every time. I had a very small job that needed some riveting, less than thirty rivets, and when it was done I threw the gun away. It wasn't worth the time nor trouble to return it for a refund, but I'll be staying away from Orfeld products in the future

Go elsewhere
Poorly designed curved handle requires a re-grip to pop after a complete squeeze, AND you need to be fairly strong. Had a pair 45 years ago that worked better. These retain the tail -also a pain. Gets stuck

So far, so good.
For the price, this rivet gun is very high quality. Better than many more expensive ones. I've been using it for the last few weeks to install metal sheeting and gutters on pre engineered metal buildings as an ironworker. I like that no tool is required to change tips for different size rivets. Handles are also more ergonomic and comfortable for all day use. Just like with all rivet guns, eventually it does jam from debris of snapping rivets. But is pretty easy to clean and unjam. It's made in China, so I was skeptical. But it performs just as well as my coworker's Lobster (5x the price) rivet gun, if not better.

Broke on my 6th rivet
I used this to press a total of 5 rivets before I was forced to toss it. On the 6th rivet my cut off became stuck inside the three interior jaws. I dissembled the tool to extract the cut off but the jaws had become so badly misaligned by the action of driving the rivet, I could see no way to fix the damage. The majority of the body is held together with 4 tiny screws into a plastic end cap. The entire tool felt very poorly manufactured with plastic everywhere. It think the rivets were stronger than the rivet gun.

Works, just not a joy to use.
It did the job but it's not something I would want to use a lot. The part that breaks off the rivet sticks inside of it and I have to take it apart to get it out sometimes. I used it on a toolbox that was damaged when I got it, 2 out of 3 rivets stuck in the gun. It feels like a quality tool but it functions like a not so quality tool.

Excellent tool
I never used a pop riveter before. This tool is sturdy and easy to use; the rivets stem pops off just like it is supposed to. Installed rivets are tight and neat. And, the assortment of rivets is a nice addition to start out with. I would recommend to a friend.

Stuck pins!
Went for a used item at half the price. Item looked very good with minor scuff on one head. First use, 'couldn't get a rivet in - because there were two 3/16 pins stuck!!! Got the tool in a vise and 'tried to push them out with a nail, no luck! That doesn't look reliable. But whoever checked it to resell must be a beautician.

Good addition to my sheetmatal aresenal!
Does the job nicely. Pulls once to set and twice to break stem. Spits it out nicely. For the money ... OUTSTANDING TOOL! And trust me when i tell you, after 30 years building Apache Helicopters, I now a thing or two about good vs. P.O.S. tools!
