Everything I needed
I bought this as a gift for my partner who drinks coffee daily. It's easy to use, easy to clean and care for. The coffee brews quickly and can accommodate a variety of cup sizes. A worthy investment for a coffee drinker who switches between k cups and coffee pot brewing. Side note, the k cup mesh cup for self ground beans also works perfectly for brewing loose leaf tea.

Very nice to have both options to brew coffee
I am an avid coffee machine purchaser. I thought I would buy vintage makers, perculators, I have been through the gambit of machines and stove top brewers BUT this is a game changer. I like my coffee hot and some expensive machines did not brew hot coffee so I knew this was a definite must for this coffee maker, and it past the test. The fact that you can brew a pot with a filter or use the pods with a pod adapter so you have a back up if you ran of pods to fill it and brew a single cup was especially a plus. This coffee maker really was a worthwhile purchase. Just note to look at the prices outside of Amazon to make sure you get a good deal with the price because the price I paid was higher here than in other stores.

Easy operation, coffee hot
I have had several automatic coffee pots over the years. Usually bought Keurigs. After my last Keurig became faulty, I decided to go with another brand. My daughter had this Hamilton Beach Duo maker and loved it. They have had it for about 4 years with no problems with it at all and loved the good rich flavor of the coffee it made so I thought, “ Why not?” I ordered mine about 2 months ago in white. It’s not only pretty and matches my country kitchen, it also does everything it’s supposed to do . The coffee is so good and much hotter than my Keurig. I live alone so I use my single brew every morning. I’ve used the pods and I’ve also used fresh coffee in the special little one cup per basket and it’s delish. I’m not at all good with buttons, timers, etc..but even I can operate this coffee maker blind folded !! It’s so easy. I’ve only made a full pot a few times when I’ve had company, but how handy is that?! Same maker, just fill your larger water well and use the amount of coffee you need for a full pot or how ever many cups you want and “ Voila” , you’re ready to serve your guests !! I know I sound like an advertisement but I’m so happy with this machine. I love my coffee in the morning and have been disappointed before in the taste of other makers. I also love the fact that you pour fresh water in it every time you have your coffee. How ever much water you put in it is what it perks ( of course, paying attention to the water level stated ). Anyway, if you are looking for a good taste and easy to operate and also a nice looking maker, this is the ticket! It comes in different colors and finishes. So, good luck in choosing your new machine . I love this one!

Coffee maker is just okay
I like the carafe and feel the coffee brews well. No coffee grounds in coffee. The programming works well for automatic brewing. The k-cup side on the other hand, does not brew well. It is slow to start. There are coffee grounds in coffee. It doesn’t use all the water In tank that’s poured in. I just don’t like it. I had a Keurig prior to this and this machine does not compare k-cup wise. It was an okay purchase but I should’ve just purchased a carafe.

Great 2 in 1 Coffee maker - White
I had an old Mr Coffee which lasted several years and a Keurig next to it on my kitchen counter. Both units were aging and after a lot of searching online, I found this Hamilton Beach coffee maker which combined both ways of making coffee into one unit. My wife doesn't like the Keuring cups, but I have always used it whenever I am up super early and don't want to make a full pot of coffee which will be cold by the time she wakes up. This replaces both the Mr Coffee and the Keurig...takes up less counter top space and works great! My neighbors who stopped by over the holidays were impressed and asked about it. I gave it a 5 thumbs up! You won't be regret buying this.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!
Best coffee maker I’ve ever owned! I love the convenience of the Flexbrew, single serve, option and the timer! Brew strength is a nice feature because I used to always have to buy different types of coffee for my family because some of us enjoy a strong brew and others do not. Now I buy one type and they can choose how strong they’d like their coffee or tea! That saves me a little money in the long run. All these great features don’t lead to the construction of a huge coffee maker either. It fits nicely in the corner without sacrificing countertop space.

Great unit for first 30 days!
When we first used this coffee make it worked perfectly. After 30 days, we left for our winter home and just returned a few weeks ago. We have been using the carafe part of the coffer maker without problem since our return; however, when I attempted to use a pod for a single cup this morning it was a disaster. The pod was split wide open, and coffee grounds bubbled all over. I completely cleaned the unit and tried again. . . . .same result.The ONLY reason we chose this coffee maker was to have the carafe and single serve features in one unit. Now we have no way to use the massive supply of pods (flavored coffees and flavored hot chocolates) that we purchased at the end of 2020.I plan to reach out to the manufacturer, and hopefully they'll replace this unit. I will update my review accordingly.It's now a week+ later, and I've yet to hear from Hamilton Beach. I called the retailer - said we had to contact the mfg, and they provided the # for Hamilton Beach's customer service. I called the number - got a recording that directed me to fill out their form on their website. I submitted the form on their website, but nadda response to date. Currently NOT looking very good that we'll get a resolution to this problem any time soon from Hamilton Beach. Disappointing - we have multiple HB appliances, but never had to contact customer service before. . . . .
