The box and sticks look aesthetically nice, but they are very cheap quality. I was quite disappointed. I own several pairs of chopsticks and use them often when eating ramen. These were just bad, even wooden chopsticks are far better.

These chopsticks were purchased because I heard it was the easiest tool to mix sourdough starter, and I agree! They are also so much easier to clean than a wooden spoon! Glad I made the purchase!

If I could only list how many times I have used these, you may take it as evidence of how effective they are. I love Asian cuisine and I had to learn how to use chopsticks the hard way. It was a lot of time but now I think I am alright. I like these sticks because for one, they come in a beautiful case that you would not mind showing to a friend or family member. They are wonderful in their appearance. How do they work? I bought these so I can save a tree and not use hundreds of wooden chopsticks. They have fulfilled this aim. I have used them often and they look great. They feel great in my hands. Really I think for the price, they are a good value.

whats easier to clean than a lacquered round stick? definitely not the most easy to use thing in the globe, forks absolutely have that going for them, but they are easy to clean, and after 4 years of regular use, using them from country steak to sashimi and restaurant Ramen they are pretty much band new. a tiny, barely visible scratch here and there are the only things which give it away. The boc is really pretty and it definitely serves its purpose of keeping em safe... it does scratch kinda easily, so it wont stay brand new or long...

My 17 year old son is immersed in Japanese culture. I had some steel chopsticks on hand if ever the need arose, but when my son used them,he said they were more like Chinese chopsticks. What? So as I do, I went on Amazon.com for all my hard to find needs. After looking at all the styles of Japanese chopsticks, I settled on these because of the price, color, and design. Also, because of the price, I bought a different pair on Amazon.com to compliment. You simply cannot go wrong by clicking, comparing, and buying on Amazon.com!

These are beautiful sets. I picked different chopstick designs so we can tell whose are whose. However the boxes are all the same. The boxes sit on the table all the time- just like the salt and pepper - so they are ready for any meal. I now love eating salad with my chopsticks! And there are often other things with a meal that are easy to eat without a knife, fork or spoon.I would have given them 5 stars except it would be easier to identify whose box it is if they also had different designs on the boxes.

Bought these chopsticks as a little gift. They came nicely packaged in a case. They are used everytime we have Chinese food. Just the right length I think, and very light and easy to use. I have just ordered myself a pair, as I seem to borrow my given gift more than I should !I am happy with my purchase... for me a good buy

I cant say these are incredibly good or bad. I have no clue why the price difference is so large between the red and black pair. Not worth the price in my opinion but they are still nice and fit well in my hands.
