LIKE GOLDILOCKS SAYS -- NOT TOO BIG, NOT TOO SMALL, THEY'RE JUST RIGHT!!!
I just got these and I read other reviews before I purchased them and feel there needs to be a more adequate description as to how big these dies are. So here goes. The base letter with no upper or lower loops is approximately 1/2". Upper extensions such as "l, h, or d" add approximately 1/2". Lower extensions such a "f, p, or g" add approximately 1/2". So . . . in the word "together", where you have both upper and lower extensions added to your base word, it would total 1-1/2". These measurements make it seem like it might be too big for an A2 card. In actuality, they look rather diminutive. Don't let the 1-1/2" measurement deter you from buying this set. It is a very nice collection of words. They are just the right size to get your words noticed without being overbearing in your overall design.I bought this set solely for the two words "together forever" to use them for wedding cards I'm making. I like this set so much, I plan to purchase the other Tim Holtz word sets (I think there are a total of five more sets to include 1) Christmas words, 2) vacation words, 3) Adventure words, 4) Celebration words and 5) and Daily words with days of the week.). I love the fact that all of the words use the same script so they can be mised and matched with each other.I hope this additional information helps you to make the decision to buy this set.

Neat words
I like all these words and the way I can use them. Once cut, they are very thin and I handle with care. I use in journals and use glue to adhere them. I have found I prefer stick glue to a liquid glue, but I have to be careful with them regardless. I like the font on these and find it fun when making a journal to use them on tags and over other cut-outs. I especially like them in my collages (eliminating the need for any adhesive) using leftover scraps from other projects. I have, at times, cut up the words to make another word.

Awesome die word set for a great value.
This Tim Holtz thinlits die set is awesome. The words are a perfect size for making cards, scrap journals and mixed media projects. The dies cut beautifully and the paper releases easily. This set is a great price.

Words are Easy to Use
I prefer using words already together --such as these! -- instead of having to cut out each letter individually. Unfortunately, when you purchase multiple word sets, you end up with a few repeats, like "smile," "you," etc. Maybe I can find someone to gift the extras to later.

16 WORDS!
I LOVE TO DIE CUT WORDS, IT MAKES CRAFTING SO MUCH EASIER. ALTHOUGH THESE MAY SEEM MORE LIKE A SCRAPBOOKING SET OF WORDS, THE MORE I LOOKED AT THEM I COULD SEE INCORPORATING THESE WORDS INTO MY GREETING CARDS AS WELL. THEY CUT OUT BEAUTIFULLY. AND THEY END UP COSTING LESS THAN $1 EACH. THEY'RE ALSO A GREAT SIZE. FOR EXAMPLE THE WORD REMEMBER IS 3" LONG AND 1" TALL.

Love these word dies
Love these word dies. They are small, but would fit perfectly on an A2 card. The words are rather strong considering how thin they are. I have the friendship set and holiday set. I like that they include every word in the set that you will need to make a decent sentiment. They don't split up the words like Merry in one set, and Christmas in another set - if you know what I mean. The only drawback to these are the price. At around $20, shop around or wait for a sale.

Great selection
These are a good set but very delicate ! I will be trying putting a double sided adhesive sheet on the card stock before die cutting first so adhesion will be less messy later

Beautiful words but kind of hard to read - especially backwards!
These are lovely dies with useful words (Truth, Friend, Genuine, Together, Forever, Everyday, Smile, Here, Now, Remember, Moments, Wonderful, Lucky, Hope, Hello and an ampersand - 16 dies in all) but lacking some basics like "Love" which would be useful with this combination of words. They are not the clearest typeface to read - especially when reading the dies backwards to work out which is which - a key might've been handy. They cut beautifully on decoupage paper, fun-foam, grungepaper, cardstock, acetate and aluminium foil and various papers with different finishes that I've tried - no ragged edges or uneven cutting. If you cut them from fun-foam (to make a raised die-cut), adhere the foam to the paper FIRST because these are so fine that the foam will stretch and it will be impossible to adhere the die-cut paper to it afterwards. The downsides? Aside from the very, very hard to read font (even stamping each die with "1", "2" etc then proving key in the pack could resolve this) and the dies being so tiny and fiddly to handle if you lack fine dexterity, they're largely ok - I have no issues in using them other than the aforementioned stretching of fun-foam die-cuts that are so fiddly to work with.

Thinlit word dies
These are great for cards. They are a bit of a challenge to get out of the die, once cut, but there are tricks. 1. use wax paper between your paper or cardstock when cutting - it will help slide the paper right out of the die easlity 2. use double sided sticky paper when cutting. This way they will be easier to add to your projects, without getting wet glue everywhere.

love Tim Holtz, plus it is made by sizzix, really good quality and they cut out really well without parchment as a buffer.
