Your Practicum in Psychology: A Guide for Maximizing Knowledge and Competence

I'm using this book for my Community Practicum in Mental Health class and so far it is a great help! Its perfect for senior level undergrad students or a first year grad student newly interning in a psych or mental health program. Very easy to understand, not too" textbook-y", but still filled with lots of great information you would need in order to be successful in your internship. I'm so glad this book was suggested by my instructor!

This is a really easy read and packed with information. It reads like a reference guide. It's very helpful for first year practicum students who need an introduction to therapy techniques.
