You can write whatever you want on this hat. The words scroll like a marquee. The LED letters are bright and striking. I got the black hat with the red letters.

Apart from some difficulty connecting via Bluetooth initially, this is a fun, novelty hat. After connecting a few times, you will learn the tricks to connect it.

The app wasn't too hard to figure out (instructions weren't real clear,) and once I did the hat looked great. However, it wouldn't work unless plugged into a power source, and then it started running the words upside-down and backwards. Don't know how that happened or how to fix it, so I sent it back. There was a button on it too, but if it was an on/off button, it didn't work.

I use this hat to show that I drive Uber and Lets my passengers know what name I prefer. I get a lot of positive attention while wearing this hat, even from people that wouldn't even look at me in an ordinary situation.I think the best feature is the QR code for using the hat is printed on a sticker on the brim. No more forgetting which app is needed for programming. On that topic, there are several downloadable programs available in the app that can do different animations, free.
