This book is great! I taught a 6 week science course all about simple machines at the museum where I work and this book made it really easy---I had enough ideas for projects in the classroom as well as easy projects for the kids to try at home for homework. I would highly recommend this book to both teachers and parent/care givers looking for some easy science projects to try at home!

I was excited about this book that I ordered for my 9-year-old grandson, and I was not disappointed. It has lots of examples and simple experiments to help kids learn to recognize the simple machines we use all the time and how to use the concepts to make work easier and safer. I wish I'd had a book like this when I was a kid.
