Tsukineko4-Pack Brilliance Dew Drop Inkpads, Basics Color Set

The glittery sheen doesn’t rub off. The ink dries quickly. The drop-shaped pads allow exact inking on small stamps and the small size stores well.

I like these inks. The silver and platinum are a bit faint. Copper and Gold show up well. They take clear embossing powder well. I love the industrial and steampunk aesthetics and like incorporating metallic inks in my journals.

These are hands down my favorite inks for cards, paper quilling, etc. The coverage and beautiful reflectivity are great.

Pretty pigmented and wet but the design of the packaging will lead to drying out quickly. It’s closed right when you first get it but after you remove the top It doesn’t snap securely at all. I’ve resorted to keeping them in a zip lock bag for now to prevent from air drying

Well. I liked it enough to not send it back, so there's that. This was my first stamp ink purchase. I have some colorbox ink pads I adore, but that company isn't around anymore to purchase more from.the platinum color simply doesn't work. It's dry. I found I was too lazy to return the other three to get this one replaced.The copper kind of . . . blorbs? I have learned to use a lighter hand, so sometimes I get a better print, but it loves to blob.The gold & silver don't show well on cream/tan cardstock. I'm guessing they would show better on black or other dark colors, but my project doesn't need that. I wound up using these anyway, then using metallic gel pens to trace over the (complex) lines in order for it to be visible. I needed color on the stamped image, which is why a dark background wasn't an option.It did hold up to using alcohol markers to color the stamped image. I haven't tried watercolor yet. Generally I'm looking for stamp ink that holds up to both, which is a tall order.

In the first set I ordered, 3 of the 4 pads were 98% dry. So I ask for an exchange. Shows up the next day. Convenient, easy, fast. So I crack open the new pack and start testing them all and lol and behold, one of the 4 pads is dry. Sadly it’s not the same one that worked from the original pack or I’d have a full set of functional ink pads and could just send back all 4 of the defective ones. Instead I’m sitting here, salty and searching the best way to rehydrate the 4th ink pad without having to spend another $13 on the Tsukineko re-inker bottle for that specific color. Can y’all not just send a complete functional set or what?

Estas tintas son brillantes, lucen muy bien tanto en papel blanco como negro. Noté que los colores Platinum Planet y Starlite Silver lucen casi igual en papel negro pero en papel blanco sí se nota la diferencia entre ambos. Los cojines vienen llenos de tinta, hay que asegurarse bien de cerrar la tapa por completo pues el cojin es tan grueso que se resiste ligeramente a cerrar bien. ¡Ah, y ojo! Hay que ser pacientes pues la tinta tarda en secar, pero vale la pena por el resultado que ofrecen.
