This is a fun game, excellent for English instruction or learning grammar.
I played this 60 years ago as a child. It was fun then. One person reads a paragraph and requests parts of speech to fill in the blanks, without reading anything else. Other players choose the words, preferably with fun in mind and the reader fills in the blanks. Then when done, the reader reads the results. Then the reading task is passed to another group member for a different paragraph and the game continues. For instruction I suggest having a student start as the reader. Good for entry level learning of parts of speech or ESL (English as a second language).

Great for kids learning the parts of speech.
Mad libs are great for kids to learn parts of speech (adjective, noun, verb, etc) and they're fun too!

Fun for kids, gets them to use their vocabulary!
My 10 year old loved making up words to fill in the blanks and even the 14 year old got involved!! We did a few together. Great way to get them to come up with bigger words and learn the difference between nouns, adjectives, adverbs etc. Only takes a few minutes to complete one. I would think adults could do these also and have lots of fun.

Fun for the whole family.
I remember enjoying these when I was a kid. My daughter got this in her stocking and the whole family has had laughs from this over the Christmas break!
