Works great worth the price!!
my father moved back home from Europe and decided to bring all his appliances with him , I set up an Inlaw Apartment for him in the basement. , When he came he had all his 240v 50hz stuff including a full-size fridge/freezer, a coffee machine, and 240v 50hz blender. I hooked this up to the 120v 60hz wall outlet and plugged in a multi-outlet power strip so I could plug in all three of the above. This has run great so far, , the fridge does run a little colder and the blender a little faster, all else held equal. I'm glad I bought the larger size because the coffee grinder pulls over 10A, this seems to handle it well, the LED indicator shows it's able to handle those higher Amp levels. Worth the price!! Very happy with it!!

Excellent quality product
I've got this power converter in order to be able to use some European (220V/50Hz) kitchen appliances and power tools with peak power ratings up to 2 kW in the US (110V/60Hz). The converter is a solid, albeit quite heavy, piece of equipment with excellent product quality that has worked perfectly so far with every appliance I've tried it with.

Not what I ordered. Dangerous and ungrounded.
I ordered one of these for a friend months ago. That unit had a 3 prong power cord. For grounding. I order one for myself and I get a 2 prong, ungrounded unit. Three prongs on the front of the unit, but the ground wire isn't going anywhere. It terminates in the unit itself, as if the little metal cage will ground you. This is potentially extremely dangerous. Also, my friend's unit died last week. 0 - 2.

Worked fine, until it didn't.
Updated...the seller came back to me a few days after emailing them and leaving my review. They requested a video proof that the unit wasn't working. Once I provided that, they promptly offered to replace the converter or refund me. I opted for the refund as I already bought a different converter to replace this unit while I was waiting to get this sorted out. I have increased my star rating to 4 stars as the sellers really did solve the problem and seemed genuinely interested in resolving the issue for me. Seems like I just got a faulty unit. Bad luck for me.Original review...I purchased this 2 months ago, and today it died. Overall, I was satisfied with the converter. It was larger and heavier than I expected, but that's okay. It was working fine on a coffee machine which has a maximum wattage rating of 1700w. I've been using it daily...as I love my espresso...then it just shut off. Tried all the basic troubleshooting to fix it (ie tried other outlets, changed the cord, reset the "trip" button). It's currently just a big white brick sitting on my kitchen counter. It's beyond the Amazon return window, so now I'm waiting to hear from the seller/manufacturer if they'll fix it, replace it, refund me, or just ignore my messages. If fairness to the vendor/manufacturer, I've only sent them a message today, and they may not have had a chance to respond yet...but I'm addicted...to coffee...and I need this resolved quickly. If they respond quickly, and get me sorted out, I'll update my review to reflect it.

This is a transformer of a 220v electronic can be used in the United States Of America(110V)
So my wife bought a rice cooker from China which is she like the most , and then this thing won’t work with anything I tried, spend a week and a lot of moneys but useless, after reviewing a post was wrote by a electricity master, I notice I didn’t do it the right way, the most basic and important thing of electricity. Anyways I got this product the same day delivery, plug and play , working like a champ, This legality made me to give this 5 star review. Save my time , and make my family happy. Thanks a lot.

good product
Looks like the power-on light on the "power-on switch" got spoiled the very first time I connected. It doesnt light up anymore while the converter works.

Working beautifully
We bought this to use with a sort of industrial-home machine, a "dumpling machine" that has 3 small motors, I was afraid a first that it would not hold up, but it has been working beautifully the measurements is a pro and it helps to stabilize the output voltage so that's 10/10

Overvoltage Protection Trips Above 250V
This review is for the 2000W Smart Auto Transformer with Display which was non-functional for me because it trips on overvoltage above 250V. The product page is not clear on if the max rated input voltage is 220V or 240V. The transformer itself is labeled as 110/220V +/-20%. I live in Perth and the actual voltage at my outlet is 250-255V. One would assume this is tolerable, as 120% of 220V is 264V. However, the overvoltage protection consistently trips within the first 10-20 seconds of powering up the transformer. There is no ability to turn off this protection that I could see and the seller was unresponsive. Likely works fine at lower input voltages but if your actual wall outlet is above 250V it doesn't work at all in my experience.
