I bought this to replace a very expensive floor lamp which I managed to damage whilst replacing a £23 'bulb' ( a stub of plastic, about the size of half a match stick within the lamp holder, snapped )This replacement needed some care whilst screwing the leg parts together - the power cable looked as if it might become a problem but was fine.My only reservation was the touch-sensitive switch which controls both the on-off and the 'warmth' of the light. Once I'd settled on the choice of 'warmth' I've used the power extension lead to power on/ off.The result is a very slim, stylish lamp which provides a comfortable reading illumination.My only concern is the 'bulb' unit is non-replaceable. Once it burns out, the whole lamp must be replaced - a waste of valuable/ durable materials, surely. Why can't the 'head' be attached with a 'multi-pin' connection?

First, it is required to assemble this lamp and for which following instruction manual is important. When I switched it ON the brightness was good but not compared to the light bulbs but obviously it is energy efficient. More importantly, it is flexible. I used it primarily for my table and also next to the sofa. but now i use it for my baby room its very good when you need come night time. I must say that this lamp is a good idea.

Really nice and flexible floor lamp.We have it stood behind a reclining chair.The flexible "goose neck" is long enough to stand behind the recliner, without interfering with the different seating positions.You can bend the neck to the position you need, including pointing upward, backwards, left and right.The Base is good and solid enough to stay firm, without tipping with the lighting position.There are 2 touch sensative buttons on top of the light, which performs various different tasks, including fade off over time, dim (3 settings, 2 different light colours)Really comprehensive settings on a well designed and attractive light.

We've had many different floor lamps before but this one is really fantastic, for one thing it is not fiddly, it doesn't have unnecessary buttons on it, then the type of light as well as the brightness can be controlled as the natural light changes around you. With increasing online meetings this particular feature is good to maintain a clear image on the screen. Another great thing is that the light is a strip rather than a single bulb which can light up one part of the face or surface but the strip gives even brightness. The assembly of it was easy with one strip of wire to be fed in the middle tube and the attachment on top and the base were again simple and clear. The instructions don't go on and on unnecessarily, anyone can follow it if they really like instructions otherwise it is very intuitive. Good value for money, going more expensive is unnecessary, going cheaper one might need to get a replacement. This is a sliky lamp which does an excellent job. We recommend this strongly.

Once the lamp was put together I was happy, however the instructions to put together the lamp were extremely lacking and definitely not easy to assemble as I couldn’t get the cable to go through the metal tubes, I found a hack to get them through easily. I used a crochet darning needle, metal and the eye was like a piece of fishing twine, the trick is to put the loop over the connector then feed it through the tube, I was becoming very frustrated because, with no clear instructions and then spent 35 mins trying to feed the cable through the tubes. But with my crochet yarn needle the cable dropped through really easily and assembled after 10 minutes. It has done the job which is to illuminate my keyboard so I’m not struggling to see the keyboard.

Lovely light just right behind the corner sofa ,gives out a nice light ,without being too intrusive in the room, I like to have lights that are not too noticeable in the room ,nice thay u can dim it at different light levels and like the way the remote sticks to the stand ,

Well packed and easy to assemble. The length of the two-wire electric cable, which is fed through the tubular body, does not seem long enough - but do not be fooled - it is! So very gently pull out the wire connector housed in the LED light fitting end a very short way, as the other connector is in the centre of the weighted base unit, where you screw in the tubular pole to complete the assembly. The on/off contact 'switch' on the top of the light, needs the lightest touch. An excellent reading light for the very modest price.

Took hours to assemble because I did not realise the wire stuck up inside the tubing and could not be seen (as received). Instructions were not helpful.The tiny 'area' in which the on/off function finds itself is really hard to find from any angle - even when marked withblobs of white Typ-ex!!It is minimalistic and plugs into an electrical socket giving a lovely bright light.
