The sloping ramp makes all the difference.
When using the cervical traction device it is important to place the ridge at the level of the cervical spine you need to stretch. The other device without the ramp is hard to adjust position because it keeps sliding. This device with the slope helps a lot better because you can keep it pressed in place with your upper back and so a lot easier to adjust position.

Poorly made. Extremely hard, caused extreme back pain. I definitely would NOT purchase this product again.

Love it but don't use it longer than recommended!
I have a reversed curve in my neck. I have had good luck with Core products so I thought I'd try this thing out. The good news is that it really seems to be helping; the not-so-good news is that in my enthusiasm I got carried away the first time I used it and WAY overdid the length of time I rested my neck on it. Follow the instructions, people, lol. 5 stars, recommended.
