I've had this since March (now August) and I've had to retape this to my dash 3 times now. We've had a really hot summer obviously and I've used a windshield shade even, but still you start to notice the edges of the tape underneath pulling up after a few days and over the course of a few weeks it just slowly starts to lose it's adhesion. I'm trying to find a better tape that might work with higher temps as the mount itself is simple and works fine - the magnets could be a lot stronger as well so it's all around a bit meh unfortunately.Granted, the mounting point I need to use (not a lot of space for it on my old 90's Celica) is textured and on the top of the dash so it's in direct sunlight combined with my phone hanging off at the furthest angle from it to add the most offset of weight possible, so the scenario is a bit stacked against it.I have the Yosh pucks in my other car and they've always just worked - never had them come off the dash and magnets are crazy strong...practically yank the phone out of your hand. I had to add in the included metal plates inside my case to improve the hold on this mount or it wouldn't hold my Moto Stylus well enough for even a slight bump in the road, now the Yosh ones in our other car hold it almost too well lol. There's a sweet spot you have to find where it will hold pretty decently, but since it's not quite strong enough to pull it into the right spot on its own.

I put this just to the right of my radio tuning knob in my Wrangler and it serves as the perfect spot to put my phone while I'm driving, whether I was to connect it to the Uconnect port for Android Auto or just let it sit and connect wirelessly through Bluetooth. The adhesive on the magnet is very strong as doesn't move. The magnet is strong enough that it holds firm no matter what bumps I have hit so far, but is easily retrievable when I need to grab the phone and go. When I don't put my phone on the mount, it is so unobtrusive that it doesn't get noticed. I highly recommend this product and would definitely order it again!

I placed an order for this item and the Scosche MPTFM MagicMount Pro XL because I did not know which one I could use best. Since the Scosche MPTFM MagicMount Pro XL is a big too wide for my bicycle stem application, I had to use this one; the smaller of the two. My only gripe is this one only has 4 magnets where the larger one has 6 and has a greater hold strength. But the larger one did not have a mounting bracket that I could find. So, although this works, it doesn't hold my phone strong enough on a bicycle. The larger one does, but cannot be mounted properly. That being said, I have the smaller one in both my vehicles and they work well. I just wish there were 6 magnets instead of just four.

I like this dash mount, it works really well with a Prius 2013. It's small enough to mount on the dashboard without obstructing any part of my windshield. It can swivel and works as it should. I don't love the magnet on my phone, but they are strong magnets and you get to choose between two sizes depending on the phone you use. It's a small price to pay to get to use google maps.

I'm really surprise how great these suctions are. They are very strong, and I tested them when I was driving even on a bumpy road. I'm glad I bought this suction. Just make sure you follow the instructions how to install and you should be fine. Moreover, do it on the area that is not leather, it will work better for the first attempt. Good luck!

I drive 60 miles on an unimproved pothole filled uneven bumpy road to work every day in a 95 Hardbody with tight suspension and this thing doesn't move an inch. Phone stays put and hasn't fallen off once. Better than I thought. Get it.

So far I have been using this for a few weeks, the adhesive is holding in the hot Arizona temps, however, the magnet is still pretty weak. The rubber helps for the friction, but that’s probably what’s really holding my tiny iPhone mini. I have a case on my phone, it’s not really thick at all, but it struggles with holding this phone, if I hit a bump, the phone falls off. You need to have it canted up so it holds it. Definitely does not hold my spouses iPhone pro max.

It was easy to assemble and it sticks to the dashboard well. The adhesive is important in the very humid climate that I live and drive in. The phone stays on the magnetic pad and can be easily adjusted. This may vary depending on the model phone case you have. I am pleased so far.

I didn't buy this for my mobile phone as I had another application in mind to mount my tobii 4c eye tracker underneath my curved monitor. As you can see from the photo, the magnet in the mount is sufficient to attach one of the tobii mounting strips to and then attach the tobii which is also magnetic to that mounting strip. To say I'm impressed with the strength of the mount is an understatement. My eye tracker is held incredibly firmly and I can't dislodge if from the mount without a lot of force. It's solved a reallyt tricky mounting problem with no modifications to either the eye tracker or the mount.I can imagine that using it with a mobile phone where necessary would be just as good.

I love my Scosche magicMOUNTS, I've got 3 of them. One on my desk, one in my car and one that I use for in my works van. They are great.I ordered one of these hoping it would have the plastic suction cup as shown in the picture but unfortunately the one that turned up didn't. Instead it has a rubber ring which did eventually break after a few months of taking it on and off my works van windscreen. I complained to Scosche about it and they sent me a new base which is great customer service.. The new one seems to be withstanding use a lot better now.Overall they are very good (Even with the slight flaw mentioned) and I'd buy more in future.Edit: The rubber ring had now snapped, it can't stand up to the punishment of being taken on and off a windscreen unfortunately

My mobile phone kept sliding around inside the car but since getting this it’s a really solid piece of kit to keep precious bits from rolling around.

Stick’s well, good magnets and does the job brilliantly.

Best mounts I've found for windscreens and also the most secure and easy way of holding my phone.So good this is the second unit bought so I don't have to keep remembering to swap when using a different car.Highly recommended
