Flotec for 20 year old flotec replacement.
Our previous Submersible Sump Pump was also a Flotec brand. So, seeing that the last one lasted me for over 20 years, I figured that I couldn't go wrong.

not enough information
This pump works well but not for my application. The float does not activiate in an enclosed space it needs more room. I was looking for the size and power that was similar to the one I previously had and did not realize that the float activation was entirely different. So I wanted to return it and the company made it impossible to do so. They had a restocking fee and the shipping was expensive, so I just kept it.

Hefty
Nothing wrong with this product except it was a bit hefty for my application.

Sump pump
So far doing the job great took old pump out, worked for ten years. Felt that was pretty good so replaced with same model and pump size would buy again

Poor fit in reservoir
The design requires a deeper reservoir in order for the float to properly activate the switch. Getting it to work required a lot of jerry rigging to prevent the tank overflowing. A vertical float would have been a better option.
