Apple Mighty Mouse Wired (A1152) - USB Wired Optical Mouse for Computers (Renewed)

The price was right for these mice. That said, I’m a former Apple reseller. I know everything about Apple hardware. These mice work fine, except with no warning, they will jump to the upper right corner and up will flip on the Launcher. It’s kind of frustrating. This makes me suspect that perhaps this is a Chinese knockoff. I can’t say absolutely, it’s just a thing that I’ve never seen an an authentic Apple mouse do. If you want a wired Apple mouse at a great price, I do recommend them. Butdon’t kid yourself. This is not an $80 Apple mouse, but maybe you don’t need an $80 Apple mouse. This would be fine. Just get used to seeing the Launcher.

I got tired of replacing batteries in a wifi connected mouse. I prefer a wired mouse. The mouse works very well. It seems well made. The one area different from a regular Apple mouse is the small wheel on top used to go up and down a page. I am getting used to it and it is now a less conscious maneuver to use it.. Matter of getting used to it. Overall, a very good product.

This was my first purchase of an Amazon Renewed product and I wasn't sure what to expect. Turns out, it is a great value, and looks practically new. The only noticeable difference were some slight burnishes on the plastic case, but those are hard to make out unless you hold it a certain way in the light.Importantly, Amazon Renewed is a source of what I believe to be the best ergonomically-designed mouse from Apple (the newer ones have sharp edges and are too flat and don't fit well in the palm of a hand). I am delighted with this product and highly recommend it for anyone looking for this Apple classic.

I finally opened my mouse to use it and it is defective. It double clicks by itself and unclicks by itself. Hard to explain, but is defective.

It does seem to be same as my old Mighty Mouse but for some odd reason they put a really short cord on this making it difficult to use for anything other than a laptop

Yeah, wireless is a plus in many things, like TV remotes for example. But in a mouse, not so much. Having a corded mouse isn't an inconvenience since the cord never gets in the way. It's actually a big plus, because you never have to recharge it. Also, this mouse with the scroll button is just brilliant--I think if Steve Jobs were around today, he might be a corded mouse user.
