Wound up getting the wrong kind. Ends up I needed NO not NC, but nothing wrong with these. Via multimeter I confirmed that switches operated NC as advertised.

Quality - garbage.Performance- some of them work twice. Some of them stuck and work always.Don't waste your time, money and energy for this garbage.

Quality product built to last. I am very impressed!

That was not what I was looking for

For my car alarm, they work great. They will tolerate almost a half inch or 14mm gap. Not to bad. The magnet on the opposite plug is strong.

These reed switches fail after the 3rd contact. They become stuck and stay always on. I wouldn't recommend. The size was accurate and the installation was normal. 4 out of 10 failed immediately. I'm looking elsewhere for another alternative
