Bought it few days ago and tested on 75cm winter pike. For the promotional price you have to spend on it is OK however it is not a net for large fish like pike. The weakest element in this potentially great landing net is an aluminium handle, which is really weak. I have previously used folded telescopic nets due its portability and low weight and I always bent and ripped aluminium handle. It is the same story here, no improvements...You have to be really careful when you land big fish and try to rather slide your net than lift it with fish as you may easily bent your handle.Unfortunately sometimes lifting your fish in the net is unavoidable.In terms of positives, this net got rubberised mesh which allows easy unhooking and it is portable, short (when is fully assembled) and lightweight enough to carry it on you back by the magnetic quick release clip. I always take it with me when I come to new water or longer trip and do not know what to expect but stays at home otherwise.It would get 5 stars if they could replace aluminium handle. I would be happy to pay more.

Originally purchased the smallest version. Wrong decision. Its just a handle with a small net attached, doesnt extend. So i got the largest version. Already tested with a 10lb carp and some nice pike. Only fault, and this is to be expected, the folding mechanism is black plastic. This can cause some issues when trying to stablise, and it sometimes doesnt lock into position properly. But its manageable and its better than trying to chin fish out in precarious situations. So this gets 5 out of 6 stars.

You get more than you pay for with this net. It's much easier to untangle fish hooks from, but it is still an issue. I wish the holes were twice as big, then it'd be 5 stars. Quality is better than anything I've seen in the price range, but not heavy duty. It was at its limit with a 10 lb Pike. Rubber coating also makes it easy to clean.

Used a few times for lure fishing on rivers, light enough for the roving anglers out there but strong enough to scoop out decent size Pike. Rubber mesh is a god send, no snagging of trebles and jigheads!

I was surprised at the size and quality feel of this net, the net is not a fabric as you'd expect, it's like a soft plastic which seems quite hardy and should last a fair while. It folds away nicely too in it's own fabric bag, i always shy away from telescopic poles as they always seem too fragile but this one just seems solid and long lasting. We will see in the future if it lives up to my expectations but from first glance i'm happy with my choice of net for my boat.

Exactly as described and extremely good value for money, now all I need to do is catch a fish to give it a proper review. Packaging was excessively disproportionate though, far too big.

Looks very flimsy but believe me its not! Easy set up, light and folds away snug in its bag. Downside....could do to extend maybe another couple of feet.

This is a excellent quality fishing net, perfect for trout, carp etc. The extending feature makes it easier to land fish from the side of the loch too. Been using it now since start of the summer and had plenty of fish through it. Still looks like new, no holes etc in netting, and the provided storage bag makes it easy to carry. It's also light so again easy to carry with the rest of the gear...
