If you're a fan of disappointment, this table is perfect for you (for 3 days)
The product arrived with minor cosmetic damage; a few scratches here, a chip in the particle board there, but nothing major. So rather than just boxing it back up and returning it, I get to work assembling the table. This was my second mistake (the first was ordering the thing to begin with). The instructions came with a single tool: a flathead screw driver. Not a single piece of hardware used a flathead screw. Philips head? All over the place. Dowels? You bet. But the one tool they provide is the only tool that does less to help in the assembly of the table than a hole in the head.2 hours and two blisters later, the table is assembled. My hands are cramped from using the world's smallest Philips head screwdriver to reach the impossibly located screws but the job is done and I have a new table. My nightmare is over, or so I believed.Less than three days later. Three. Days. That's less than 72 hours. That's less time than the shipping took. And in that short period of time one of the legs has broken off and the table is officially useless.I've reached out to the seller for a refund but haven't heard anything back. Hopefully that process is as short as the table's lifespan and I have an answer within a few days.

It’s got a bad rep, but worth it give it a chance!!
I had this on my list for a while until I actually pulled the trigger because I was off-put by a lot of the negative reviews. I couldn’t deny the style and price, though, so I decided to take the plunge and I’m so happy that I did!! I carefully examined it for damage when it arrived, but it was in perfect condition, so it appears they have worked out any quality issues. I also want to note that my kit actually came with the correct Phillips head screwdriver. I read a lot of reviews, positive and negative, making sure to take notes and follow suggestions of others—this is super critical. The task of assembly is pretty daunting, but if you take your time, it’s actually pretty simple! Do not follow the order of the given directions, and instead put on the legs first. You need a drill to put on the legs, this way you have the best angle. It will also help the sturdiness of your table if you use wood glue at all the points of connection. If you have the patience to assemble furniture, this is definitely a great value and I would totally recommend this table!

Expect to modify it
This coffee table is cheap. Because it is so cheap, you should not expect luxury. That being said, this coffee table is pretty much useless without some alterations. Starting from the beginning, this thing was difficult as all get out to assemble. The directions were poorly written, and the diagrams didn’t really match the pieces we had. I’m pretty good at assembling things, but I had to call in backup to get this one up. With two people it took about an hour to put together- all for a stupid coffee table. My biggest complaint about this table is the legs; they are not sturdy at all. In fact, after only owning this table for a few days one of the legs snapped on me when I tried to move the table to vacuum. It isn’t the legs itself that’s the issue- it is the way the legs are installed to the table. It’s no more than a soft wood peg you just slide in. Worthless! That brings me to my next point- the table is worthless unless you do some modifications of your own. I reinforced the legs with my own screws and impact wrench. I also reinforced other parts of the table with my own hardware. On the plus side, the laminate actually does look nice, and it’s highly resistant to water stains (great if you have a certain male in your house who loves to set his cups down without a coaster). I do like the storage that this table offers, as I have a lot of magazines and a box of smelly things that I put in the end cap. Overall, I don’t hate it; but it’s certainly not the best coffee table I’ve ever had.

Beautiful!! And... a little wobbly
I LOVE this table, especially the little cubby on the side that my hubby can put all his stuff in. I put all my books in the larger open half. It’s beautiful!! Although, Warning - do not get this if you have small kids. It may be sturdy enough for adults to sit around, but if a toddler tries crawling through the bottom, this thing might collapse. You can’t drag it to move is. You need to pick it up to move it, the legs are sturdy enough if you wanna put your feet up on the table, but if you try to drag the table towards you when there is weight I. It, the legs may buckle. Of course if you are handy I’m sure you can strengthen the legs, but otherwise, just know it is a little bit wobbly.

It’s ok
Everything was good putting it together until I got to the legs, the legs just don’t fit correctly on the unit, making it very unsturdy and almost lopsided, don’t drill them in whatever you do bc you will definitely regret that trying to take them out and re align them to sit properly

Looks nice, but you get what you pay for
This was very inexpensive. It looks pretty nice for the price. The legs would not screw in tight, that made it unstable. If you are handy, there is probably something you could do about this. I'm not handy, so I threw it out. No use for a coffee table that is going to fall over.

Dollhouse furniture worthy
Its a joke. It looks like its for a dollhouse. If I had a keychain id attach it. Its that small. Also the door mechanism was faulty and wouldnt retract. Ill be returning it. I dont know what population of humans would be proud to show they own this in thier room.

Delayed, but nice
Even with the shipping delay due to coronavirus, this arrived over two weeks late because fed ex had not received the item from the shipper. That said, I found the assembly pretty straight-forward: I did it myself in about 45 minutes and used a drill rather than the tool provided. It’s lower than I expected, but not bad. I’m happy with the way it looks in my living room, especially for the price.
