They reached out to me and gave me some wonderful very explicit directions and I found that I had one of the pieces on the wrong spot which was very easy to do seeing as how the instructions that were sent in the package were almost useless. The unit is assembled it's beautiful and it's everything I wanted it to be the customer service was great and I'm going to bump this backup and start.........I was excited to get this unit. Until it actually came. Several of the bars have NO drill holes. Meaning I cant connect any of the cross bars. Seller said he wanted to send me replacement bars.. i sent the pics requested but I still have nothing. .. idk what to do with a half assembled unit he wont give me a refund on. Buyer Beware!!!!... it looks like it would have been great outside if this issue

Overall, for the price, this was a great purchase. I’ve been looking for a polished brass bookshelf for my teen daughter’s room, and it’s been a challenge. The truly polished brass ones are thousands of dollars and I’ve returned previous purchases from online furniture stores with catchy jingles because the color was truly wretched. The color of this unit is gold and does have a little sparkle to it (see picture showing a truly polished brass knob next to the powder coated metal shelf and gold tone accessories on the shelf to compare color).Pros - design has character and adds to stability of unit, built it solo in little over an hour, everything fit together easily, shelves are flat, color is good, lots of space for trophies, books, and random trinkets collected by a teenager, instructions were easy to follow.Cons - did arrive with a few scratches (included pic of one) so worst ones are against the wall, instructions had screws mixed up (or the baggies were labeled wrong) but that was easy to figure out since B and E screws are seriously different, packaging left bits of styrofoam everywhere (that took me more than 20 extra minutes to clean styrofoam off if everything), and a few holes were not punched through but that was also an easy fix.After returning two sets of shelves because the colors were more brown than gold and determined not to spend a ton of money for an accent piece in a child’s room, I read dozens of reviews, dozens. I took a chance on this unit based on reviews of another style made by this company because I liked this design better. I’m thrilled with the quality and look of the shelf, the price I paid, and the quick delivery - and my daughter is a happy teenager!

I bought two of these to put in my office with my football helmets. They look awesome. Very modern and elegant. Easy to put together.

To say I love this shelf is an understatement. It's perfect in my home office for books and decorations. I now have two - first purchased May 2020 and second Feb 2022. The first time had the small inconveniences (one mislabeled piece and my husband and I had to use all our strength together to get all the pieces to fit just right). It took me over 4 hours to assemble using a power drill (I'm not very handy to begin with though). The current version had none of those issues. The parts fit together easily, directions were clear, and everything was correctly marked. I'm still not very handy so it took me about 2 hours using a power drill completely by myself. The screws also are made for phillips head or flathead screwdrivers instead of the previous Allen wrench if that makes a difference for anyone. Highly recommend!!

I love love love this book case! The gold frame is super classy very trendy. I thought the shelves would be more like a marble look they are basic flat white. It did take me a couple of hours to put together myself, I probably could have used a second set of hands when it came to screwing in the white shelves but it is possible to do it yourself. Directions were easy enough to follow if you’ve put any furniture together before you’ll be fine. I will say don’t tighten everything down. Leave it a little loose it helps when you add in the angled bars and the shelves.

I love it! Exactly how I envisioned it in my place - I wanted to use the shelf as a room divider and it’s everything! I didn’t have to secure it to the wall then again I don’t have A LOT of things on my shelf. Building was extremely easy - directions are easy to follow - parts are labeled. Can’t screw it up.I saw some reviews of people saying some parts looked used cause of the scratches.. I had about two that had scratches and I thought they were used, but it’s how they’re packed laying on top of each other. Scratching each other when transporting I think. Nothing crazy.The 4stars is for the confusion of my package. I clearly put my address in when purchasing and the seller “forgot” to put my full address on the package. It was just the street name and city/state. So it was a whole dilemma trying to get my package but other then that I love it!

Its beautiful, it was worth the three house it took to put the thing together. I am sure it was just me, but all these pieces goiNG every which way was a bit confusing but what do you expect when the outcome is like art. Very pretty and holds so much stuff!
