Much needed
I've had my SM57 for about 3 years now. After almost upgrading i decided to instead try this cheap alternative for my singing to have less emphasis on P and S noises (I have a pop filter, but it's just not thick enough to be suitable to my needs)Works fantastically and very easy to secure with the small screw on the side. Now I'll be using the 57 forever.

Reduces pops
Fit as perfect. Works for reducing pops

Wind resistance is superior
Works as intended, and so I use the mic with this windscreen for any windy areas inside, and anywhere outside where wind naturally exists. No problems with it!

Very Presidential
If you want to use a 57 for vocals, this thing is a must. No more popping your P's. Looks cool too!

Effective at what it claims to do
These windscreen are easy to slide on the microphone. They do an effective job of reducing or eliminating wind sounds (depends in large part on the strength of the wind). The use of a set screw requires a small screw driver. Replacing the set screw with a small thumb screw would be a considerable improvement.

The BEST windscreen for the SM57 and the only way to complete your "El Presidente" mic setup!
I got turned on to these after a video by Aiden at Dark Corner Studios on YouTube (good guy, knows his stuff). This locking foam pop filter/wind screen will be 2/3 of your "El Presidente" microphone setup, along with an SM57 and the Shure A55M shock mount. Put them together and you have the microphone every US President has used for decades. Helps an SM57 sound VERY similar to a Shure SM7b for not much money. If it's good enough for the President, it's good enough for you.

Much better looking than the A81WS
Okay, so when I was first looking at microphones for my gaming setup, I settled on the Shure SM57. I liked the sound, the price and the build quality. The problem, is the plosives. Just horrible for voice. A windscreen was 100% necessary. Especially since I'm not trained on microphone teqnique. Me, wanting the best, got the A81WS. Needless to say, it sounded great. Zero plosives and gave it a warm sound with similar depth as the SM7B. The big thick problem was its absolutely massive and an eyesore. It's also a freaking chore to install; bordering on annoying.I recently bought this A2WS. Loved the look and it's SUPER easy to install. It sounded good but, due to my microphone technique, had some plosives. I performed some surgery. I removed a small section of the inner material of the A81WS and inserted it into the tip of the A2WS. Boom! Ladies and gentlemen, it looks great and sounds great! Check out the pics. All-in-all, very happy with this purchase and I no longer have people commenting on the rediculous size of my microphone.
