These doors are a work of art and an incredible value.
I'm an experienced home remodeler and have done many door/trim installs. These door are fantastic and a great value. Even if you have minimal experience with DIY you can handle these doors and this install. They go together easily, can be stained or painted (I stained mine to match the rest of my doors/trim) and are a straightforward project. They are rustic beauty to our home and people love their look and function. I will now be getting two more of them, including a large double door. Outstanding.

Perfect, unbelievable price
We have a room that has a larger door opening for one of our rooms and have had difficulty in finding a door wide enough. This is the exact width we needed. Price is phenomenal. Most are 3 times or more this cost. This was easy to put together and install, I could have done it by myself but a second person does make putting the rail up much easier. Directions are a bit lacking but it can be figured out fairly easily, if you take a moment.Door and rail kit are very sturdy, not cheap at all. The only thing I would say is that I wish it came with 2 handle, one for each side of the door, versus just one.

Happy with my Barn door
I am a female with some carpentry experience & confidence. This 54" wide door was both a challenge & rewarding to complete. Due to its width it was heavy, bulky and awkward & I needed another hand for moving it around. The seller quickly replaced a couple cracked boards (at or near the tongue and groove areas) and very cupped pieces, but I accepted any that were just imperfect as long as they were sound, since this is a BARN door. I learned long ago that it is important to keep all your wood stored flat, and this pine is no exception. It is newly cut and not fully dried. Thanks to other reviews, I decided I'd have a painted finish in case there were glue residue issues, but warmed it up by staining the header & added separately-purchased handles from a U.S. craftsman. I also replaced the stops with 2 spring-loaded stops and the plastic floor guide with an aluminum one, both sold on Amazon. I hung the door so low that only a roller guide or filed off metal guide would work, which is what I did.Probably because my door had to be so wide for my application, during construction it was really tricky to get all wood pieces aligned and seated, so my husband bought me straps and made me up some pipe clamps, all of which I used VERY slowly and carefully, checking my progress and listening for crackling so I didn't break or crush any wood pieces. The fact I had to set this aside for months at a time, for various reasons, allowed the new wood to dry out somewhat. So happily that meant there was no shrinkage after assembly happening 8 months after I bought it.The instructions are inadequate, so God Bless all Amazon and Youtube warrior/reviewers--you helped take me to the finish. Also my husband for helping me remove or further drive in about 3 of the final long lags. Predrilling those holes some more and using wax on the lags helps a lot.The cross braces are secured by black screws, which I didn't like (looked like buckshot or little raisins on the white surface in my opinion), so I purchased white headed Phillips Screws, which makes them look delightfully painted over. You could paint the black ones supplied, but I liked screws that had bigger heads which the white ones I bought had. I then used black aging wax to accent them, as well as to accent whatever edges of the door planking didn't stand out from the white paint. The white paint matched it to our other regular doors, but the wax accents gave it character. Before painting your door, you should take a measurement from opposite corner to opposite corner to make sure it is squared up. I couldn't get this big boy squared within a 1/4" on each of the 2 cross measurements, but luckily our old house's imperfections (1960s crooked, modified door frame and molding, wall slightly leaning in, etc) combined with it to work out just fine. It moves smoothly and quietly. I would gladly build a smaller door next time, but this bigger door was a challenge I am proud to have completed.

Great doors
These barn doors was exactly what we needed. Came packed nice and neat. Putting them together was easy. You may want to sand them down prior to painting them. They are a little rough in texture. The door glides as smooth as butter.

Damaged, warped, ect
The box came damaged and a bunch of the pieces were dented or marked up. As I was building it, I noticed the pieces are warped and extremely difficult to put together. There are gaps once assembled and nothing really lines up. The instructions are awful and incomplete. Thankfully step 5 was done where it says you have to use a chainsaw on the bottom! The guide it made on the bottom doesn’t line up, so it jams every time you open and close the door. This thing is heavy. 70 pounds total hanging off the wall. In just sheetrock….it lasted about 3 hours and it was sagging. I had to drill a new hole in the steel bar so I could at least line up the end bolts to the studs. Had to get a special drill bit. It was tough but at least it won’t fall now. The holes for the handle are not drilled either. The wall mount is missing one bolt, washer and mount piece as well! Freakin awful! So, after hammering it hard with a rubber mallet, some drilling and adjustments it looks pretty good. I was able to also put most of the marked up and dents on the wall side of the door. Worth mentioning is there were a ton of particles and dry rot falling off the box. The whole box was rotting and looked like it had been in the warehouse for a few years. It made a mess everywhere. 1 star cause it only ended up ok because of me. I would have went with a better one and a different company if I had the choice again. Do not buy is my recommendation.

Very happy, but it’s not perfect
As described, except it’s way heavier than advertised. I had to unpack the box at the front door and break up what I could carry in by myself. Definitely takes 2 people to carry. But packaged incredibly well. Excelling milling of the door pieces until… one short piece. Boo! But someone else mentioned the company was responsive and sent them missing pieces, so I’m sure I can contact them and replace the one board.I’m an engineer and enjoy and whiz through simple furniture assembly jobs and the like, but I’d recommend a 2nd person for a few key moments of install.5 star because despite the short board, I expect that to be nothing more than a short delay until I get a replacement piece.
