Smartcard works with Linux
Bought this for the SIM and smart card reader. Both seem to work perfectly with PCSClite on Linux with ISO7816 contact cards.I haven't tested any of the other features.

Cheap and doesn’t do the job
I know 100% that the SIM card I inputted had data to be extracted and this adapter did nothing. It wrote onto the SIM but couldn’t see much else.You have to manually file down the adapters, which I’ve never seen before and the software used to edit and view the sim is hideous

This doesn't see to work
I expected to be able to just insert a SIM card into this device, plug it into a USB port and my computer would recognize it as a removable drive, like it does for everything else.Not the case. Further, there are no instructions to speak of, just a little CD with software to install (how quaint), but nothing.I get a red light on the device when I plug it into a USB port. For a split second, I see a drive appear in File Explorer, but it disappears and then...nothing.I insert a SIM card and it fits awkwardly, but nothing picks up that I've done that. Not my computer, not the software I installed, nothing.Seems pretty janky to me.

Adapters are not correct sized to hold the cards you have
The adapters that were sent with this don't even fit the cards none of them the adapters are all toó big so I had to take the device cover off of it and hold the sim card in the slot with my finger to even get it to recognize that a card was in it to read would not recommend
