Made my life 10x easier placing tub in bathroom

I ordered this kit after watching the TileCoach youtube video on installing a freestanding tub and my husband and I were able to install this ourselves. I know it's expensive, but for a freestanding tub, this is one of the best ways to connect the tub to your drain plumbing without a permanent connection. So, if there is an issue with your tub at some point down the road, you don't have to cut into the floor to work on it, the tub will raise right out of the kit. We DID have trouble breaking the plug loose when we were ready to drop the tub in. it's not really a plug that pulls out but rather something you break loose. I actually had to drill a bunch of small holes so my husband could break it loose. Overall, it was a great purchase for us.

I know, this thing is expensive, specially if you're a diy'er like me, we like to get good deals, but here is the thing, sometimes you are just better off spending the money and this is one of those times.I live in Florida and was dreaming about an specific free standing tub that would be almost impossible to install if it wasn't for this baby!It came with every piece that you'll need for your rough in as well as the brass drain extension.I absolutely love this thing and even though I won't see it when I take my baths, I'll always be grateful for it made my dream bath possible!

Took a little learning but once.i followed the directions was easy to install. Been working great.

This worked perfectly. Just as advertised. Couldn't imagine setting a free standing tub without this part. Highly recommend the investment
