Situ Lighting: Plug-in Micro Series Compact Remote Controlled LED Picture Light - 3000K - USA Made

I've been waiting a bit to write my review for my Situ Lighting Plug-In light, and the time is here! This light is worth every cent that you spend on it and then some. Quickly, it's easy to install, is exactly as described (even better than described) and it's just beautiful. I'm finally seeing my artwork in the way it was meant to be seen and displayed, and it looks even better than it did in the gallery.This is a family run business from Florida that has managed to produce a first-rate product that does not disappoint. From the packaging, the customer service, to the quality and ease of installation, I couldn't be happier with my light. As we display more artwork, I will buy more of them. And I will make sure my new home has outlets installed behind the places I want to put my art for these lights.The color accuracy of this light is spot on. It's what you're paying all the big $$ for. You can get cheap, low color-rendering index LED lights anywhere on Amazon or the web, and as you'd expect, you get what you pay for. The LEDs used in this light are amazing. They produce a very bright, high-quality light that allows the colors the artist used to show through exactly as they are meant to be seen. The light doesn't change or alter them in any way. And since there is no UV light produced, my art is protected from damaging UV exposure. The included remote works great, and the multiple light dimming levels are perfect, though once I found the right level for me, I just set it and forget it. Every time I turn the light on, it comes right back to my preset level.The light ships with everything you need to install the light either to the wall or to your picture. I chose to mount to the wall due to the way my frame was put together and it works perfectly. The entire installation took me about 15 minutes. I had a few issues getting everything just right because we have low ceilings (it meant getting my painting to catch the hook after the installation was a bit of a challenge), but once I got through that, no problems!The light is all metal and is super easy to adjust. You can set the width of the lights and the brightness to suit your needs. Follow the sizing recommendations on their Amazon page and you'll be happy. I've included an image of my painting in darkness lit with just the Situ light, one in normal room lighting with the light on, and one showing how the light mounts with my painting.Overall, I can't recommend this highly enough. If you have a beautiful piece of art, a treasured family photo, or anything else that needs to be lit accurately and without the light becoming the focus of the display, BUY THIS LIGHT! I've been telling my friends and family and several have also purchased this light and have had similar results. Again, it may be expensive, but in this case, you truly get what you pay for!

We have a print of about 24"W x 48" L that requires full illumination. Although reluctant to shell out the cash we decided to give the Situ plug-in light a try. It comes very well packaged with full instructions. There is even an included cord extension which we do not need. The remote is small but effective. Mounting to the rear of the picture frame took about 5 minutes and worked well. All the parts are well fitting, the arm of the light is adjustable, and the brightness is adjustable to suit about any circumstance. We are very happy with the color temp (nice cool color) but it would have been helpful to have the color temp adjustable. A great display light the solved a problem for us. Costly but worth it.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought these to light the art on the acoustic panels in my home theater. The two LED model was recommended and seems to work well for the 24"W x 48"L panels as shown in the photos. The light can be adjust for width of the projected light and it adjusts up an downwards too. They're almost invisible in use.Installation was very simple as the light's bracket screwed into the wooden frame of the acoustical panel. The wires were plenty long enough to reach the outlets down below and they will be hidden behind the walls later on.The remotes are custom made. On/off is easy to get to and there are fast buttons to get you to the approximate level and then you can use the +/- keys to seamlessly brighten or dim them. They have a memory so they come back on the same brightness you shut them off.The remote controls can be programed so that one is the master and controls all four lights at the same time. In my application I use the four provided controls to individually adjust the light to the correct level and then use a fifth remote (available on Situ Lightings web site) to turn them on-and-off all at once. Well done!The power supply is a seven volt one and is matched to the two LED light.Excellent performance from a very good looking light.

I wanted to highlight my picture and was looking for a light that is simple to install, bright enough to bring out the brilliance of the picture and not generate heat that may damage the picture. I am extremely please with Situ Lighting. This unit plugs into a wall outlet and it has a remote control that has presetting for 100%, 80%, 60%, etc. brightness. It's extremely easy to install - instructions are clear and easy to follow. The brass is high quality (has some weight) and the LED lights are bright. The light housing is small and discrete so it does not detract from the picture frame. It is on the pricey side, but it's well worth the money.

I have a large (6’ x 7’) painting and have considered lifting it for quite a while. I even tried a couple of other picture lights, which were fine to good. But I’m very happy that I decided to try this picture light. Honestly, I was a little dubious that it’s small size and composition of only three tiny lightbulbs could sufficiently illuminate my giant painting. The results have been great, however. In fact, I only have to use the 80% setting to very nicely light my painting. It looks great at 100% and 60% as well. And that’s another really convenient and very enjoyable part of this picture light: It comes with a tiny remote control for controlling the power and different degrees of illumination, and the previous lights I tried (which I was still able to return to Amazon, thankfully) didn’t come with remotes. This picture light is more expensive, but it’s worth the marginally higher price given the substantially better features and associated enjoyment of our beautiful painting (which is shown in pictures I’ve included, although the pics of the light in use don’t accurately reflect how beautiful the lighted painting is in the darkened room).
