Q: Is this antenna too long for a trunk lip mount?

Hi, the antenna is rather long, but no so heavy that it can't be trunk mounted. Any Comet or Diamond trunk mount will handle this antenna.

Q: Would this antenna work behind the cab of a pickup in a stake hole mount or in front on a hood mount?

Antennas always seem to work best on a front hood mount. The stake hole mounting in the back of a truck does not provide the best ground plane for the antenna to resonate.

Q: how do you tune it for Murs. No instructions included but in the descriptions it says it can be done.?

We don't own the listings and can't change them. That antenna is not tunable
