The welds are a little sloppy but it is extremely solid and weighs a ton. This is easy to use and does exactly what it is supposed to do. After using it to install some ipe in a bedroom, I used it to jack a very heavy bed to put felt pads under the posts. it is over built and will most likely be impossible to destroy.

The media could not be loaded.  We used six of these to put in a whole house Shaw glue down floor and they worked like a charm. We broke one but that’s due to us over cranking and we learned not to (if you’re breaking the device you have the floor set far too tightly).Left us with consistent closed gaps, and worked far better than any other method. We did drill some holes in the concrete and used bolted 2x4s into the concrete to limit the size of the runs to what we would handle (10-15 feet) in a single glue run.My first advice is to avoid glue down hardwood. Good lord that stuff is a pain. Nice when it’s in. But goodness.But if you’re doing a floor job and want nice tight gaps these worked like a charm.

Boy did this come in handy for tight and awkward spaces while laying laminate floors. Overall, I didn’t need it a whole lot, but when I did, it saved me time and aggravation.

I am installing 3/4 in hardwood flooring. I have to say I am very happy I bought this tool. There are times putting planks down near the wall where a plank will be slightly off and this tool will push the plank in so there is no gap. Along the wall where you can't use a nail gun or drill you use construction adhesive. This tool will hold the plank in place until the construction adhesive has set. Use a scrap piece of flooring to push against the wall and distribute the force...just so you don't damage your drywall.

This jack came in very handy was great to have as part of my tool set. Was very sturdy and I was able to get the hardwoods nice and tight with it with little room on the edge. I did put a 2x4 or 3/4in piece in between the drywall to help spread the load but other than that was perfect. I would very much recommend this product for flooring installs (might be too big for vinyl but great for hardwood and laminate).

Works great!! Small $ investment for how much it makes the job easier. It's make solid and had no issues after installing 2500sq ft of hardwood floor.

Bought two... one worked perfectly, one required a screwdriver to release the tension. Good value though, because it’s pretty cheap.

A must for any hardwood installation. It was my first time installing hardwood floors, I did one side without this, i regretted that. This tool comes in super handy. Didn’t fall apart during my project.
