Like sleeping on whipped cream cheese. But in a good way.
I was originally looking to buy a whole new mattress. But the timing was unfavorable with THE VIRUS... and all the supply chain issues therein; mattresses were ridiculously expensive. I instead decided to just get a pillow topper to "hold me over". Like with the comforter I bought, I really had no idea what I was looking for, and picked this one because it was stitched with hexagons...It been a couple of months now, it still has a pretty firm floof to it, no saggy or compressed spots. It really is super comfortable. I've injured my back three times since owning this, and sleeping on it really helps. I didn't toss and turn because it was too squishy or too firm. Just laid down and passed the F out.I usually sleep flat on my back like a freak. It works good.I've been having to sleep on my side recently for some intestinal issues. It works good too.NEVER overheat.NEVER too cold. This pad plus the comforter by the same company was a real win. I can genuinely say I've never been more happy with a bedding purchase. It's going to take a real miracle to get me to try anything else form here out.

A Long Overdue Replacement!
I wanted to wait till I had sufficient use of my mattress topper before commenting. I had tried an egg crate style, foam topper a couple of years ago and it didn't provide the quality of sleep I desired. A new mattress was about $1,000 and I didn't want to invest that much. This $300 topper appears to meet my needs. It's comfortable and my quality of sleep has improved.

Very comfortable, may run a bit warm
It took 2-3 nights to get used to the feel of a new bed but I have been sleeping very soundly on this topper since adjusting, better than before. It seems to be a bit warmer than my previous bamboo mattress cover, but it is likely due to the slight enveloping affect. It is a firm foam, so it molds more than sinks, if that makes any sense. We live in FL, so we don't actually want "warmer" sleep, but it is not a deal breaker in the AC. A big plus is that my husband no longer wakes me up by moving around - I don't feel his movements like before.

Comfort at last!
I live in the tropics and suffer from fibromyalgia and sleep hot. Not a great combination. It's been very difficult to find a mattress topper that provides sufficient support and comfort without being unbearably hot. Memory foam is notoriously hot.But this topper from Layla actually does all it claims. It really does stay cool while providing good support and cushioning. I've had it for a few months now and I'm sleeping better than I have in years.

comfy and cool
I put this on a hybrid mattress that I found a bit too firm. It sleeps soft and cool. Very nice

Itchy
I had high hopes for this topper, unfortunately, it made me itch, must have been something in it that I was allergic to. I had to take it off from my bed at midnight. The fun part was trying to get it back in the box to return.i am a 76 year old arthritic lady. Amazon said to take it to ups office, I got there with it taped up in the box, they said I had to have it repackaged, cost me over $20.00. Not happy!!

Way cooler than the Tempur Ped
My wife and I purchased the Tempur Pedic 3”adapt mattress pad and she loved it, but I could not sleep in the inferno that it created. It is fall and it felt like we were sleeping in Miami without AC. Should have trusted the reviews online. Well that cost me as Tempur has no sleep trial. The Layla has been fantastic no hot sleep issues and even though it is 2” it has been more than up to the task of my 6’2” 270 body on a first gen Tempur mattress. This saved me from having to buy a new 5K mattress that the wife wanted. I even offered to buy her one during Black Friday and she said she was happy and did not want another bed.
