I think the filter is working just fine
How do you really know how well a filter is working other than clear and fresh water coming from the fridge. The price on these is terrific so why not give them a try. One caution, run a few gallons through the filter to wash the charcoal out. The water will be real dirty the first few run-throughs. A two pack for this price? Worth it.

Good product and wonderful price. If you purchase these from the retailer where you bought your refrigerator they will easily be twice the price. Comes with instructions which are easy to follow.

First few gallons have a weird taste but if you just run about 3 gallons thru the filter it clears up.

I purchased two of them the first unit was leaking while the second had a tight fit and works fine. I am not sure if it's due to manufacturing errors or the age of one of the two units (old?).

OE filter was better.
The price was right, but the filter isn't. Sure, it fits fine and water comes through it, but after properly flushing it at installation I still get weird particles in my water after several weeks of use. Not a big fan of the taste of the water either. I'll stick with the OEM filters in the future
