The product works well. The instructions are sufficient to get it up and running. The one thing that was not clear in the instructions was that you need to plug the USB dongle into the charging base and not your computer if you want to only use one USB port on your computer for powering the base and downloading the data stored on the scanner. I have used the scanner to load UPC data into MS Excel, Access, Word and Note Pad so far. It worked flawlessly in all cases. I usually use the mode where the scanned data is stored in the reader then downloaded later. I have tested the real time download mode as well and it works fine. I would definitely recommend this as I use it for home inventory.

En mi caso me sirvió mucho porque puede configurar que almacene en su memoria el nombre de la ubicación donde tenía el equipo + la fecha + la hora + el código de barra. La mejor manera de descargar la información siempre será mediante el dongle wifi con el que cuenta este dispositivo, hacerlo por Bluetooth sería muy lento. Un dato importante para el fabricante sería que produzcan una versión que tenga un botón de reset, así como el agregar una luz led con difusión para lograr escanear en ambientes oscuros.

Well, what can I add here, the thing is that handy instructions come with the scanner and you can setup it up in a few minutes and forget about anything from that moment.

Overall a great scanner. Good options to configure the scan results using QR codes provided in user manual. The charging dock and wireless operation are very useful. Sometimes, when scanning it is not possible to detect 1D barcode or QR codes. Sometimes it can take a long time, sometimes it requires a second or even third try.

I bought this hoping it would work on my Sam4s 510, and thankfully it did. the wireless didn't work for some reason, but if you use the USB wire it works just fine. I'm happy with it. if you're like me where you need a scanner for moderate use (I use it in a smoke shop for cigars only) and don't want to drop $300 plus on a big name scanner for your register. This would be fine choice for you.....

The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: They just gave up on trying to correct my issue with the scanner. Won't reply to my emails at all (3 emails I sent from Dec 31, to today. So I have one that works great, 2 that send the information two quickly and I just gave up on them and going to throw them in the trash. I sure wished I would have kept the boxes, but I let my guard down that the 1st one worked so well.We purchased our first one and loved it, only it scanned in too fast. No problem, turn to the page in the manual and scan the "Slow" option and now it send the information at the speed of a fast typer, which the program is able to keep up then... So we LOVED this one, why not by 2 more?!?!So we go the additional ones, but they will not slow down by the code in the book, thus the scanner is making mistakes in what it types in 45% of the time. Dropped characters and oddly, just the wrong characters sometimes. So we contacted support and they responded the next day, with the same barcode in the book. I told them it didn't work, so they next day, they sent me a QR code. It didn't work. The next day they told me it was working, but the difference is just "hard to tell". So I sent them this video, showing them what "slow" is on my original, and what it is on the new ones do. If they were giving me verbal instructions in the video, it wasn't in English... so I had no idea what the person was saying.So their support is very frustrating because it's one reply a day, which even though I write them detailed info, I get a single sentence replies with seemingly very bad understanding of English. We are 3 weeks out and still can't use it... I wished I hadn't thrown the box away, or it would have been returned. Thankfully the other one I was able to return.In closing, this can be an amazing device... unless you have the Jul 30, 2020 version... then you have a playtoy for the kids when they play "grocery store".
