Campbell’s Chunky Soup, Old Fashioned Potato Ham Chowder, 18.8 Oz Can

Easy to fix and tastes good. I can put it in my lunchbox and it’s there when I am ready

I'm a soup aficionado of sorts. Usually make my own so I can control the ingredients. When I don't have time, I go for Campbell's. They've converted me from Progresso because their soups simply taste better and are a better value. I've always been particularly fond of their steak and burger soups. Unlike some other brands, Campbell's actually has beef, real beef, in them. The prices for soup have gone up a lot lately, so I'm always of what and how much I buy. I do snatch up a lot of Campbell's when I can and find the price on Amazon to be better than all of the local supermarkets.

I have long been a fan of Chunky Soups, especially the Healthy Request sub-brand. I like the stew-like texture and the fact that several are high protein/low fat. Since our local stores carry a limited number of varieties, I have taken to ordering from Amazon. One can is about right for my lunch.Lately I have noticed a high salty flavor in these soups. I don't know if Campbell's has changed the recipes or whether I have become more salt-sensitive. The labels on some varieties shows about 900 mg of salt per can. Thus, I don't eat these as often. Consumers on a limited salt diet should be aware of the high level.

Great taste and not a big price.

I totally forgot to take a photo of it, in the bowl. Ate it all! Serving for 2 people. Restaurant taste and quality! Great flavor and spices of classic Old Bay. With just the right creaminess full of chunky potatoes and clams, goes excellent with the tiny oyster crackers, especially on a cold rainy drizzly day!

Sent to my son. He texted " that is the best clam chowder, Mom, I can't find it local" So I sent him more from amazon. He said it is flavorful and not like typical chowder.

Not their best... Overly seasoned and not many clams.

This is the best soup on the market you can but, at this time, from a can.Plus the added fun of serving it to friends and them saying "Wow".Good Times. Good Friends. Good Soup.
