It locked but when I went to set the new combo it didn't work. Directions are easy enough to understand so error is quite unlikely. The button to push to unlock doesn't really move at all. Never could get it to unlock. Even before making a new combo. Piece of crap. Great idea. If it worked.

Now I don’t have to worry about my food at work to be tampered with. The EVS guy will have to come up with other ways to phuc with me now!

The line is too short to fit my refrigerator and I had to put lock side upside down because it is only made for one direction!

Worked like a charm! I was skeptical about the adhesive, but it holds strong.

The lock is a great idea with a couple of unfortunate fatal flaws. I had high hopes that it would keep my kids from taking food from the pantry and spare fridge in between meal and snack times, but a couple of issues arose. First off, the adhesive apparently needs 24 hours to "set", and if it doesn't get that, and perhaps even if it does, the locks can be pulled off with enough force. Right after I put the locks on the pantry, my son came over and I watched him pull hard enough to remove the lock, making the adhesive less sticky and therefore more easy to bypass. I had to request more adhesive to re-do it, which the seller kindly supplied at no cost. The second time I applied the adhesive I left the locks unlocked so as to remove the motivation to try to pull on the locks while it "cured".Once I figured out how to get the adhesive to stick well enough that the kids couldn't easily pull the locks off, I thought we were good to go. Unfortunately, after about 2-3 weeks of use, the tips of the pieces that click into the lock broke right off, leaving the locks completely useless. I was then forced to pry the locks back off the fridge and pantry and Goo Gone the remaining adhesive off (which ironically stuck on really well this time), and am left looking for an alternative.I'm requesting a refund for one lock, but since I ordered the two of them on separate dates, one is outside of the return window so I'm stuck with one unreturnable broken lock. Great idea, unfortunately fatal flaws. Too bad.
