Fixed what repairman couldn’t!
Bought a house that had a non-working ice maker in the refrigerator. After two warranty calls, neither of the servicemen were willing/able to repair the ice maker and suggested replacement. My husband was able to order this part and fix it himself!

False advertising - there is no warranty. Only worked about 4 months.
Would not purchase through Amazon. The ice maker worked for about 4 months - false advertising, there is no way to use the '1-year product warranty', despite order number/proof of purchase of their product, edgewater will say their product was purchased under Amazon LLC and to go through Amazon. Amazon will then send you back to the product manufacterer.Lesson is the product is faulty and their customer service is unhelpful.Buy from a different company.

Unit worked for about a month or so. Now doesn't work at all. A wire fell of the other day.

SENT ME USED ICEMAKER
Opened the package and noticed that this icemaker had been previously installed by another buyer. There are screw marks where the unit mounts to the freezer and the plastic flapper on the unit is bent/kinked in the middle.
