Great Backpack - Not Comfortable with Wide Shoulders
This is a GREAT laptop backpack that I highly recommend, but unfortunately had to return. It was well made and the different pockets were great. My Alienware M18 R2 laptop fit comfortably inside with plenty of room for other things. However, I am a big guy with wide shoulders and when loaded it was just not comfortable to wear. I found that the straps at the top were just too close together to accommodate wide shoulders comfortably.

Intelligent Design. Perfect for airport travel with 18.5" Diagnal MSI Gaming Notebook and much more!
Unboxed this today. Just as described! Rear compartment with layered padded pockets perfect for my large notebook computer with extra screen, and multiple other devices, some files or books, travel documents, and more. Very roomy full-height middle compartment. Third compartment from back almost full height, more than enough for more files. Nested pockets in all. All three of these have TSA lockable zippers, a real plus to avoid pick pockets. Locks not included, but zip-ties could work too.Stiff further back. I would not put valuables in the last ones while hiking with it, as they are not lockable, so too easy to pick.I like that at the small of one's back while you are wearing it is another, pocket; perfect for security items. This is replacing my very worn, similarly sized, 25 year old REI 2 or 3 day pack, which also had a great array of pockets for it's time. Yet this costs less than half today, what the REI one cost so long ago.My only two criticisms so far:1. Unlike my old REI mid-size camping pack, which became my computer carry on (a model they no longer sell), this is made more cheaply. Single stitching in many places where the REI had double. The shoulder straps and clasp between them are not as good, not made for long hikes, and there's no hip belt. But that's not what this is for. It's better than my old REI for carrying computer gear, with padded pockets while attending conferences and traveling. And perfect for bringing such things on airplanes, busses, trains, and other civilized places. It seems comfortable and adjustable enough for some hiking, but I'd definitely rely on something more rugged for real camping.2. It has a plastic synthetic smell, as that's what it's made of. And maybe from the water repellent surface? It was probably packaged while still brand new. I'm hanging it opened up, off a tree branch out in the wind. It should off gas and be fine in a day or two.

This backpack is big
I ordered backpack because it was larger than more backpacks I have had in the past. I am a bigger guy and the smaller back packs never felt good on my back. This one is the perfect size. Has a good amount of pockets and spaces. It feels like it is made well and it make for good materials. I will use this backpack daily for going to work, traveling and just about keep with me all the time. I’ll update this review after 30 days of use.

Buy what you want and if it sucks return it.
After seeing all types of horrible reviews on this bag and a bunch of others like it, i pulled the trigger anyway. So far after like 2 months i love it. It has a ton of pockets/storage areas. So many that i sometimes forget which pocket my stuff is in. Certain reviews claimed the handle failed. I dont see this being possible honestly as the handle is reinforced with a piece of steel wire. However, i do not recommend filling this thing full, and by full i mean every pocket is full. Reason being as the thing will just get too heavy. Ive noticed the more i put the heavier it gets (obviously). If you do fill it to the max, do not! Use the handle i could see the handle ripping under extreme weight but under a normal load ive carried it with the handle. Use your best judgment if it looks like the handle has too much pull on it just put the thing on your shoulder or back. Another thing to consider, the image is stock and likely altered on pc to make the bag have that full look as if it might stablnd on its own. Do not assume this, if youve ever owned a backpack you should know what to expect and that it wont stand on its own. I will say that with my xbox one s at the bottom of one of the pockets it does stand on its own. Besides that, the front loops are cool and useful but i wouldnt hook more than keys or something light on it as extreme weight will make it rip i assume. I think people go overboard with weight to this thing abd then get pissed it ripped. U have to use common sense which most dont posess and dont abuse the bag. If you need something more rugged buy a camping backpack or something more rugged. While this will totally hold up in most scenarios you have to be conscious of how much abuse your giving it. People complaing about washing it andthe usb rusting, while i havent washed it again common sense says u clean this nag with soap and a damp cloth, dont throw this in the wash, or just dry clean it (if possible) i persoanll bought the black with orange trim and im completely happy. Again it just gets heavy, i mean its such a big bag that u wind up thrown a ton in it. So just be conscious again of the wear put on it. I do recommend this bag, and will update this review accordingly.
