Innovating Science chemical element observation set is used to explore the Periodic Table of Elements, and contains the following 23 element samples to study similarities and differences: aluminum, antimony, barium, bismuth, cadmium, calcium, carbon (charcoal, chromium, cobalt, copper, carbon (graphite), iron, lead, germanium, magnesium, nickel, silicon, silver, manganese, sulfur, tin, tungsten, and zinc. The samples are packaged in durable plastic containers for storage, and are labeled for ease of identification. The set includes a periodic table for review, and an instructions and material safety data sheet (MSDS) packet for product information and handling procedures. The set is suitable for age 13 and older with adult supervision, and meets the requirements for Department of Transportation (DOT) small quantity exemption 173.3, and conforms to 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 173.4 for domestic highway or rail transport only.Science education products incorporate applied math and science principles into classroom and homeschool-based projects. Teachers in pre-K, elementary, and secondary classrooms use science education kits and products alongside science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) curriculum to demonstrate STEM concepts and real-world applications through hands-on activities. Science education projects include a broad range of activities, such as practical experiments in engineering, aeronautics, robotics, energy, chemistry, physics, biology, and geology.Innovating Science products, manufactured by Aldon Corporation, include educational kits for the chemistry, life science, green chemistry, advanced placement chemistry, and forensic fields. He really liked this, he was curious what the different elements ...
For my budding teenaged scientist/grandson. He really liked this, he was curious what the different elements looked like. Added a book abut the elements. ONLY use this under adult supervision ! and follow all warnings!. I would not buy this for anybody who does not follow the rules, or has no adult who knows what they are doing.

Affordable Chemistry/Element Kit!
My middle school son wanted periodic table elements to look at and use for experiments and this kit was in the affordable range with a wide variety of elements. He brought part of the kit into class to share, but some of the elements we opted to leave at home due to the warning labels as being dangerous chemicals. The instructions list clear precautions. My son wears gloves and goggles (not included) to handle the elements out of the bottle. The order link said it was undetermined when it would ship, but we had it within a couple of weeks (and in our case it was before Christmas, which pleasantly surprised me). My son would highly recommend it- He loves it.

Made a great birthday gift for my little science nerd
I purchased this for my 13 year old son who is completely head over heels with science for his birthday. He was so excited he even brought it to school to show the teacher. I'm trying to help promote his interest in science geology in particular.

Not the best specimines
Fun to have but many of the samples are in powder forms. I would have liked to have had the elements in their more natural or presentable forms. This has lead me to full on collecting elements though which has been immensely fun.

Investment for years to come
Wow, studying the Elements became more real - nice to associate a sheet of paper with the real stuff!

Cool kit!
Exactly as described. Cool kit!

Would NOT recommend this for children!!
Yes the elements do come with warning pamphlet. Due to the dangerous nature of some of the elements, I would not trust anybody but an adult with serious knowledge of chemistry to handle/use this product.
