Sliced Java Tan Pebble Tile 1 sq.ft. (Mesh Mounted)

This is beautiful tile (Sliced Java Tan Pebble Tile 1 sq.ft.). I'm a DIYer and didn't know how it would fit together, but it was kind of a no-brainer--it fit with another piece no matter which way I oriented it. The only challenge was that it is floppy, not like laying regular tile. I made a tray out of card board the size of the tile, with 'wings' to hold it (see pic). That worked very well to slide the tile off it, into position on the thinset. Being a bit obsessive, I also cut some of the stones to fill in around the edges (with a tile cutter). I probably should have finished the floor before the walls, in which case the walls would have overlapped the floor edges, but I did the finish tiling after the walls. It was also a very reasonable price.

This sliced pebble tile is very high quality, and each tile is configured to fit exactly into the next -- no need to remove pebbles from one "sacrificial" tile to place into voids left when two tiles are placed next to each other. The subtle variation in the stone colors is perfect; exactly what we were looking for! Excellent customer service; all tiles were delivered a day before they were expected, and just in time for the scheduled installation. I would definitely use this supplier again, and recommend them to my friends and family.
