Tuning up my ‘98 GMC 5.7 v8
My ‘98 GMC truck needed a tune up. I replaced the wires, cap and rotor. I found the truck had the original parts on it. Although it still ran well, there was corrosion on the cap leads and rotor. The new parts fit perfectly and runs better than ever. Good price, very pleased.

Spend the extra money
Thought I could save a few dollars, but the cap does not fit as well on the distributor as my Delco did. The cap screws are the wrong thread count. When I installed the cap one of the ears broke off when I tightened the screw. And no, i did not overtighten the screw.

The screws that come with the cap did not fit my 1996 suburban
I dropped one of the original screws for the cap I was replacing. One of the new screws broke off in the distributor body. I had to grind it out with a drivel tool, but I got it done. Don't lose your original screws.
