Good for the price
This tripod was bought mainly for indoor video work, for which it is very good. It has a maximum camera weight of 2 kg, which is easily more than enough for home camcorders or for a lot of DSLRs or CSCs (not top-end ones with top-end lenses but if you have one of those, why skimp on a tripod?). The head is not removable but that isn't an issue for me. For outside use, I would be wary of using it in strong winds, particularly since it doesn't have a hook for hanging a bag to help stabilise it (I have seen a suggestion somewhere of how to improvise one). The legs can only be opened out at one angle but that's to be expected in this price range. Overall, very good for its price and intended use.

You get what you pay for.
Would love to write a glowing review of these, but after a couple of outdoor shoots, they (I have two) are starting to fall apart and the quick release has opening a couple of times when moving with a camera on, leading to a quick grab. Maybe I'm expecting too much of them for the price (as a comparable pro one will cost 5 times as much) which is a shame, as it's a nice product, but just isn't meant for the field.
