Does this come with cable ties?

It comes with a flexible cable tie, that can be cut. It gives you about 4 ties. I used about 4 black cable ties of my own as well. But it would depend on the length of the cable on your iron. If you need extra or not.

What size do I need to cover the steam pipes on my steam generator iron?

A 14mm is recommended for the cables on most steam generator irons.

Not sure it's a while since I purchased it

Does it prevent your ironing cord from getting all twisted?

Will keep your cord from tangling but mine didn't stay fitted for long. Clip didn't work very well, even tried tape to keep it in place. No fitting instructions and in a sealed package which had to be cut open before using. I wouldn't recommend this and wouldn't buy another one.
