Hard to find

Instead of recycling my 18v stuff due to batteries being worn out, I bought this gadget and took a couple of my 20v lithium batteries to re-purpose them into a set I can leave in my truck. The old 18v stuff is worthless as far as monetary value goes, but still work just fine when needed. So for the price of this adapter and 2 used lithium batteries I have a set that can ride in a tote in my truck. If one of the thieving scumbags that live among us decides to steal them they get some old worthless junk. I call it Urban camouflage. If crackheads can't pawn it, they don't steal it. The adapter works great, and the difference in battery size from the 18v to 20v with adapter is basically the same. Only had it a few weeks and since I don't use daily, or even often I can't speak too toughness. I just know it works great for my purposes. I now have an impact driver and drill available when needed. So far so good, its worked great. I would buy again and recommend it.

Work well. You do not get the built in current shutoff your original batteries have. The drill will keep working until performance suffers and then some. Please don’t let your lithium batteries get too low. I believe this may effect their health or yours

My collection of 18V Porter-Cable tools now have new life, thanks to this adapter. Recently the second of my expensive 18V Porter-Cable Lithium EX batteries (PC18BLEX) up and died. But it seems the B&D 20V Max batteries I already have for both woodworking tools and yard and garden tools work fine, as well as a couple of Porter-Cable 20V Max batteries I have for a staple gun and impact driver. Much better deals on new 20V Max batteries as well!I plan to get a couple more of these adapters for the convenience of it. And yes, I will be mindful not to run the 20V batteries down too low, for reasons already pointed out in other reviews.

Fits perfectly, I bought a18 volt Porter cable grinder for $10 and now I can add it to my 20 volt platform, I also have their 18 to 20 volt to upgrade my black and decker firestorm tools to 20 volt Porter Cable. With these adaptors you're no longer stuck with one tool platform because of how expensive the batteries are, I buy tools at yard sales, garage sale and so one.

Used this to upgrade my P-C tools to 20v batteries. Easy to use would buy again.

Seems to be made well I have use it for 2 weeks so far and it brought new life to my old porter cable tools, mainly the circular saw and reciprocating sawI would recommend if you have the 20v system and want to save your old tools. If you dont have a 20v battery it would be worth buying this adapter and a battery instead of all new tools

I did not reach for the Porter Cable tool even though I think is a better tool than the Black & Decker tools I have, But because of the Weight and use time of the tool I went to the Black & Decker tool. now with the 20 volt and this adapter it is a much harder decision to which one I grab.

This adapter allowed me to utilize my old 18v nicd batteries and convert the old 18v drill too accept the new black and decker 20 V lithium batteries. All in all allows for an old drill to be reborn with better battery technology
