One of the best books on Photoshop available!
I have read most everything there is of quality on Photoshop, including, among the best, the Classroom in a book series, just about everything Robin Whalley has written, and the top of the top, Martin Evening, plus others too many to enumerate. I can therefore say with complete confidence that this book is right up there with the very best. The format, which begins with a complete course, is followed up with a lengthy compendium that goes into a detail not covered in the first half. This format is very effective. The book is well written and is not too arcane to be grasped in one reading.

Best Adobe Photoshop Tutorial Ever
I've done many Adobe Photoshop tutorials, through my Creative Cloud subscription, and other books that I have purchased through the years. This book is the very BEST for telling me everything I had hoped to learn at this point in my Photoshop skill level, and more! It is easy to follow and goes into much hoped for detail. None of the other tutorials included in Creative Cloud and none of the other books I've purchased in the past ever explained things so well. It is easy to follow, fun to read, plus it has great exercises for honing in the skills it is teaching. I am a professional photographer, self taught at Photoshop. Not only am I learning totally new skills in Photoshop, but I'm finding in reading this book that there are many Photoshop tools and features I've been using through the years, but never totally understood in detail. I realize that up till now, I haven't been getting the most out of the Photoshop features I was using. I highly recommend this book to someone who has used Photoshop for years, doing the basic skills with a fair amount of knowledge, and is ready to take it all a step higher.

Good book to start
The PSD book is good, but I advice you to register for a face to face or online class as just a book to work on demand a lot of motivation and discipline. Not everybody is able to learn this way. As a complement to a course this book is perfect. It covers everything you need to know and much more as PSD is a complex software. Lots of texts, but clear explanations easier to apply if you have already a little idea of PSD.

Concise and user-friendly
This digital Photoshop book has been a real lifesaver for me during my COVID furlough! I took the author's class in January and then got too busy to review and mentally integrate all my class notes. Now that I’m furloughed, I am using this time to hone my chops. I appreciate the instructional design concept, which includes initial chapters with accessible, hands-on lessons, followed by a compendium in the back that provides deeper dives on each subject. This keeps the reader from getting too bogged down in the details initially, while still providing more in depth information once one has absorbed the basics. This book has the added benefit of being well-written and carefully crafted, which I cannot say for my (now largely unintelligible) class notes.

Book is good but problems with downloading files
This book looks like good, but one thing is missing. I have trouble with downloading files for exercises. Some of them are OK but some doesn't load. So I stack on 3td file then cannod prociede. I would suggest that book have CD or SD key.
